Peterman has thrown 4 INTs in just over a quarter.

Why you would bench your perfectly adequate starting QB in favor of a rookie while you are in the middle of a playoff hunt is mind-boggling.

Good thing the rookie made the coach look good, huh?

He may have trouble ever getting a start again while he's still head coach

Something probably happened behind the scenes that brought that move on.

Exactly. The coaches have their reasons. Tyrod is a relatively safe QB who uses his legs a lot, but he's never going to run a high powered offence. I imagine the coaches were hoping for a more traditional QB in Peterman.

I'll say this, one game doesn't make a career. I still think Peterman can be a good QB. When I heard Pat Kirwan talking this guy up, I thought I'd do my own research on him. I'm no scout of course, but I do know the game of football. I liked Peterman and wanted to draft him and have him sit behind Ben until it was his time. The thing is, there's a bit of nature vs nurture in sports. Does a guy like Tom Brady become what he is if he's drafted to Cleveland? Does Deshone Kizer suck if he's drafted to NE instead of Cleveland? Has Peterman forever been destroyed due to the situation he was put in today? Who knows, but I thought he had a bright future in the NFL before he was drafted to one of the worst possible spots for a QB (cold, snow, windy, etc.) Now, I'm not so sure, but if he can get some more chances or go to a new team, he's got a good shot.

Does Belicheat have a hand in this fishy decision by Buffalo?

I would have to say Bills coach set his career back majorly with such a big

gaffe as this with the Bills still in playoff contention, he may have lost his team?
