The beard is dead, long live the beard.

Great story. Is it me or do I only see Keisel clean shaven or with a 2 foot beard? I never see him just scruffy with an in-between-er type growth. I don't know how he does it but I think he grows that thing overnight.

 

I wonder if he'll grow "The Beard III". I think fans are starting to expect it.

 

Considering the endorsement deals, the business opportunities, and the charity work that has come it, I think it is a good possibility he keeps the tradition going. I had no idea that "the beard" had its own facebook page till last weekend. Where have I been?

 

I was reading a video game blog and they were talking about potential madden cover candidates from each team. And they said Kiesel with his beard had a chance at the cover.

 

Didn't see the blog but I bet Eli would be the favorite for the Madden cover (unless of course he's afraid of the curse). If it's Keisel, he'll go down on IR in the first 3 games so pray somebody else gets it.

 

He went from looking like a viking, to looking like an undercover cop. He'll grow another one.

I think he started this last one in June. I believe it takes him like 6 months to go from clean-shaven to Da Beard. But even 2 months in, it already looks crazy, especially with a helmet.

 

I love that this guy has really developed his own identity. He's def one of my absolute favs on this team. Almost last of the 3rd guard.

I don't know how he does it. I grew my Kiesel tribute beard for the month of December. I would have kept it until after the SB if the Steelers stayed alive. I shaved it at the end of December after we got Tebowed. and was thankful because it really sucked!
