Who here has the all-22 and uses it?
I have it and have only used it o two games and so far I Love it.

Here’s what I’ve taken notice to in a more glaring light !!

Benton, #95, is a Rookie draft steal!! The man has moves, quickness, GREAT Hands, and a Motor!!! Tuitt who? Adams who? Benton is a Future Probowl beast!!

Darnell Washington was a fourth rd pick for a reason. I thought, in my glorified draftnik mind, Darnell was a STEAL.. umm , no. Gentry was a better blocker and receiver. Darnell is younger , more athletic and has a higher ceiling. He’s an overrated blocker , kinda lazy in effort. Hopefully he improves effort and becomes HIS Potential.

JPjr- He fearless and aggressive in coverage. Sucks at tackling but really seems to be trying to improve that area. Not sure he’ll ever be a great tackler but he does have skills. Wish he was a speedster.

Pickett- It’s amazing he doesn’t have more turnovers. He will lock onto his target far too long. It’s clearly obvious he doesn’t go thru many reads per play. Is that by design, OC limiting his options, or is that him being fearful due to a poor OL or just impatient ??

    B. Jones: OT— First off Shout out to Dan Moore Jr. He upped his game and held off a Uber Talented Rookie. I wanted D. Wright in the draft because he was undoubtedly the BEST RT and that’s what I thought we needed. Wasn’t a fan of the Jones pick because he’s a LT and I didn’t see the fit here thinking Moore was ok and getting better at LT and who was going to play RT?? BAM!!!! Jones can play RT!!!!!

What say you ….. ALL - 22 video heads??

Benton, Peezy Jr., and Jones have all looked great. Its nice that Washington and Herbig have found their way onto the field and contributing in smaller fashions as well.

Pickett doesn't have more turnovers mainly due to his reluctance to throw the ball more than 5-10 yards down field. I'd like to see him start giving some guys a chance too. He seems reluctant to throw to guys that are "NFL open"... barely open, but open enough to make the play. The game looks like its moving too quickly for him out there. He isn't comfortable in clean pockets, he isn't comfortable in his reads... he's had a really rough year. We were supposed to see a big jump in play from him this year, but there isn't one part of his game that is better than it was last season.

I don't have the All-22, but I have heard from the local media that Gentry's blocking wasn't good his last few seasons with the Steelers, probably why they were ready to move on from him.

I love the All-22 and try to watch every game with those views. You can see so much more of the individual battles in the trenches than you can from the broadcast TV views. You can also really see the routes and coverage develop, and get a good sense of what’s in the QB’s field of view. Even when the networks show play replays from the end zone view, they’re usually too zoomed in to see everything.

I'm hoping getting Muth back makes a difference. There are a lot of factors about this offense that are not friendly to the QB. Beyond the OC, Oline and running game being substandard, he hasn't had a good set of targets to throw to either. Since the first game, he has been without one or two of his top three targets in every game. I hear there are all these weapons on this offense, but i dont see it. Najee, Muth and DJ are not at the top of their positions. Pickens has potential, but hes not close to the top receivers yet. Warren is playing well, though. Overall, this is a below the line unit and that includes Pickett. I hope they all get a whole lot better quickly.

I think a big part of them not being the top at their position has been that their statistics are being held back by subpar QB play. PFF ratings has DJ as the most consistently open player in the whole league. I understand he has had a few concentration drops here and there, but if Ben were throwing him the ball he'd light the stat sheet up. Same goes for Pickens. He's a guy you throw to when he's only marginally open because you expect him to make the play with his gigantic catch radius, but Pickett has been reluctant to pull the trigger on anything other than back shoulder throws to him. Muth has been fairly productive when healthy even in a subpar offense as far as TE's are considered. We have a very strong collection of young targets. We have an above average TE, an above average group of WR's, a quality RB tandem, and an OL that looks to be a guy away (and Broderick Jones in the lineup) from quality play as well. This is an offense that would be an above average unit if we had quality QB play. We have had some of the worst QB play in the league the last two years between Pickett and Trubisky

Last week was the perfect opportunity for Pickett to get comfortable. The running game was firing on all cylinders. If you run for over 200 yards, there's pretty much no excuse to not be able to throw for over 200 yards too. We should have scored a ton on the Packers and we didn't really manage to capitalize. I really think you'll see this offense take BIG steps forward if the QB play improves.

Respectfully disagree. You say we have a very strong collection of young targets. The problem is they haven't been so far this year. DJ has missed half the season and is still dropping the ball, Muth has missed half the season and was bad when we was in the game, the RBs have had two good games, but before that they were totally ineffective for most of the season. Even Pickens has had his share of mistakes. And speaking of the all 22, somebody should load up the play where Pickens changed his route in the middle of the field and allowed an incompletion because he didn't want to get hit a couple of games ago. I'm not saying Pickett isn't part of the problem, but to be fair, there have been many problems with this offense beyond the QB.

I totally agree on the Friermuth… he only had 3 targets in two games! Yet many on here think he is going to turn around offense. Same people who thot DJ was gonna turn around offense after missing 2 games. The same DJ who has 1 td pass in 2 seasons! Unreal!

I guess its a matter of opinion, right? They've either been "not special" because they aren't playing well/aren't that good, or "not special" because poor QB play has been holding them back. I would say that there is probably some level of schematics that have limited the offense, but it certainly LOOKS like its the QB play holding them back. It's merely speculation though. You could be right.... I just have the opinion that we replace Pickett in this offense with an NFL average signal caller (and nothing else), we are pretty immediately an NFL average offense or better.

I can use DJ as an example. In Ben's final year, DJ gained 1161 yards and scored 8 TD's in 14 games... In the 22 games after that he's gained 1201 yards and scored 1 TD. That was a Ben that was a shell of himself, it just shows how quickly things could get going if we get NFL caliber QB play. Canada was the OC in that season as well, so its somewhat comparable. I honestly think the talent is there. We just gotta find a way to get these guys the ball with consistency.

Well I don't think they are going to be the savior to this offense. The only guy that can save the offense is Kenny. He HAS to be better.

DJ has 1 TD in 2 years because his QB the last 2 years has immense trouble throwing the ball into the endzone. In his 2 years with Ben, DJ found the endzone 15 times and gained 2084 yards in 27 starts. DJ has been the most open WR in the league by PFF standards for a couple years now. He can do it... Kenny has just gotta get it to him.

I was liking Caleb Williams from USC until this year. I think his draft stock has dropped.

Also, until whoever is holding KFP back, needs to use middle of the field. Defenders got to love playing against us, all they have to do is defend outside the numbers.

He made some "demands" on the only teams he would play for, as well as a "demand" that he wants ownership stake in whichever team drafts him... Not sure I would be super excited to draft him.

I tend to agree with this, but my eyes were opened on this by a stat my brother shared with me... There are 5 teams that use the middle of the field less than the Steelers. They are the Eagles, Cowboys, Bengals, Chiefs, and Bills. All good offenses with good QB's. It really made me re-think my stance on whether or not I hate our use of the sides of the field.

Apparently he doesn’t understand how the NFL system works. You cant pick and choose who you are going to play for coming out of college. Guess he never heard of the draft? Or is he going to avoid the draft and negotiate with the team he wants to own and play for? Never ever heard such nonsense, but hey this is a brand new world we live in. Anything goes!

I still not a fan of it. No YAC whatsoever after catch. Catch it your going out of bounds 9 out of 10 times. The Steelers use the far side of the sidelines.

Only thing you kind of miss is the QB view through the line. Been watching the QB school and he's said many times that when you watch film sometimes the throwing lanes aren't there even though it looks like you could get the ball to someone.

This.....100%.... Qb matters a lot. Just Look at Texans....more than half the people here couldn't name the weapons, or the OL, and those same that were there last year weren't doing very well.....add a very good Qb....like magic everyone on that offense looks way better.
I have always believed that 97% of all Wrs are made by their Qbs, and all targets, and OL players look better by how good the Qb is. Remember this not only was Ben old, repaired elbow, and under Canada.....He had no Pickens, and had Green as a rookie for center, and Moore as a rookie for a LT....., and still had 22 tds, an only 10 ints. Qb matters.....with all that said....I'm still behind KFP, and hope He keeps progressing.

Yes most understand this, but it doesn't matter if the Qb doesn't even look that way.

Dude… he played against some bad secondaries, Jags are one of them , didnt do nothing. Steelers had 200 yds rushing against Packers, that should’ve opened up the PA, once again natta. I will try to remain optimistic, but like i said not sold on him at this point. The Browns are going to stack the box to stop the run, we know this. Will KFP make them pay, that is the question.
Btw Jordan Love looks better than KFP. Only 1 qb looks worse than KFP and thats the Jets qb, who beat us last season.

A lot of that talk was from his dad, which may have been from Caleb but dad's and relatives can stir up crap for sure. Ownership of a team involving an active player is (I believe) is against NFL policy so it really is a non-issue. I don't think his draft stock has dropped much if at all, next May some owner or GM will try and do whatever it takes to get the number 2 spot if he drops. He may try and play the Eli and Elway card, but USC losing so many key games and his Heisman clout losing ground, he may not have the power he thinks he has.
