Throw the stats out the window, I trust my eyes. Admittedly, I watched Pickett more than I watched Purdy last year, but my assessment, FWIW, is that Pickett is a more talented quarterback than Purdy, who is more of a system quarterback. Nothing wrong with that and I think both quarterbacks can have success, but Pickett is a better player and that’s obvious to me. And he should be a better player. He was a more highly touted first round pick and Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant. Again, you can throw out stats if you like but you know what they say about stats. Pickett is a more commanding presence on the field and is a more talented player. Still not sure why you think Purdy has more upside. Can you elaborate on that a little? Was it just because he had better stats last season playing in a quarterback friendly system or do you have other reasons to believe that he’ll be the better quarterback? I just don’t see it.

... So there ya have it!!

Jerry really does want Dak out for Dak simply is not taking Dallas to the promised land. That said, can Trey Lance develop into the QB many thought he could be coming out of North Dakota State?!?!

    Time will tell for certain.

I said this a long time ago....I even said Dak didn't deserve the rookie of the year ....His RB Zek did. I also said when Zek started to fail Dak wouldn't be far behind. Anyone remember this????
You can look it up, and most said I was crazy, and didn't know what I was talking about.

Change of scenery may help this young man, Don't really see Niners much
so I can't comment on his ability.

He only started 3.5 games, so it wouldn't take long to catch up. :lolol:

Reminds me of all the STUPIDITY here when the Steelers signed Haskins. People lost their mind over his pure raw talent.

After I joined. Look it up. Hell I know Blast, and I argued about it, but He wasn't the only one. There was quite a discussion before He signed His last contract.

    With you there on that.

For that matter, Jerry has learned the hard way; even having to swallow his pride to keep Dak. Oh man..... the comedic relief the 2017 Cowboys Season was!! :lolol:

2019 though was the greatest meltdown of the Cowboys in recent memory!! :drinks:

First thought that came into my head reading his post but he never said he thought Kenny was any further along. The NFL will know a lot more about Purdy and Kenny after they completed a complete season. Even then it is far from conclusive how their career's will go. Trevor Lawrence looked like a bust at first but I'm in agreement with his post in another thread that Lawrence will be in the mix for MVP.

I agree. Most players You can't tell good , or bad what they will be like after one season. I always think take 3 seasons of play, and average that....then You will have a idea. Hell I can't stand T. Edmunds, but I didn't really give up on him till the end of His 3rd season. Of course if You draft a Qb because He can run fast, and throw far....well You get what you ask for.

He's right and that's why the Cowgirls have won nothing since the win against The Steelers in 95. He needs to have a GM to evaluate and maintain talent but I'm happy the don't, can't the Girls.

He failed to sign the biggest threat to catch the ball in Amari Cooper and left the cupboard bare.
