Fano has very short arms. 32 1/8 inches. No way he stays at tackle. I could see him dropping in this draft.

Who says he is staying as an Offensive Tackle?! I am most assuredly not. Fano's best spot on the Offensive Line is at Center.

For that matter, Baltimore just may have found their Tyler Linderbaum replacement... provided Fano can pack on some weight. His overall build is just.. yikes.

Who is the better starting LG for the Steelers.... Spencer Fano or Broderick Jones?

I would love to see the Ravens use their 1st round pick on a Center that has never played Center... Reminds me of Kendrick Green. Besides taking some Center snaps at the Combine in shorts, Spencer Fano has never played Center in an actual game. Most of Spencer Fano college days were spent at RT and LT.

I still believe that Broderick Jones can become a very good starting RT in the NFL. He is a road grader that can move people.

Spencer Fano did take some snaps at the Senior Bowl as you stated. Still doesn't help the transition but if there is one thing that Spencer isnt is Kendrick Green. Arguably the biggest reach in Kevin Colberts tenure here. Spencer Fano is many times superior than Green as a prospect.

Regarding Fano to Center though, the reason I suggest it is that while he doesnt have the overall strength to play Guard, Center is another story; especially in Zone Blocking Offenses. Baltimore is a Zone Blocking Offense and Fano's athleticism translates beautifully there. Fanos strength at Center is doable for he will not be taking on mannoth sized IDLs every play. Still needs to add some weight though.

Instead, he will use that athletic ability of his to climb to the second level. Given how he was argubaly the best pulling Offensive Lineman in the class, he will easily be a Top 5 Center in the NFL in terms of pulling as soon as he gains experience at the position. Why such high praise?!

Centers with athleticism like Fano's that can pull are comically rare. Have to go back to the likes of Jason Kelce and Maurkice Pouncey in their primes to find Centers like Fano that can do that.
