I switched my pic to JOK, just based on him being best player available. He has the potential to be like Polamalu in our defense.

I would say only if others requested him. I still think the team goes RB so I would leave my vote as is, but others may not think so. I don't see a lot of pro-Mayfield comments.

I will let people vote for the rest of today. If no player has a majority of the vote, I will edit the poll to include the top vote getters. For example, the choices would be narrowed to Etienne, Osuwu-Koramoah, and Davis, as of right now. If there isn't a majority tomorrow, I will narrow it down to the top two vote getters.

I’m suprsied by the Davis love, think it would be a huge reach taking him in the first.

Not like the Steelers haven’t been known to do that though *cough* Burns *cough* Edmunds *Cough*

David will go in the first round, at worst #35 to Miami.

I think he goes in the 3rd but have seen him mocked to mid 2nd.

He’s ranked, 44th to 60th on 3 different big boards.

Would love Creed Humphrey in the 2nd!

Tevin Jenkins in the first and Creed Humphrey in the 2nd would fix our oline for sure. I dont think either one will be there though.

He was rising up boards fast. Six weeks ago he was in the late fifth early sixth. Two weeks ago he was late 2nd early third. Then he ran a 4.37 40 at his pro day, and a lot of boards had him jumping into the first. NFL com has him rated slightly below Collins, some places have him slightly above. He's the same size and speed as Micah Parsons, played last year, and doesn't have the baggage. But he's late first, early second, no doubt.
I voted for him, mostly as a devil's advocate, as I think if the choices were those given, it would come down to Etienne or JOK. But if he falls into the 40's, he's someone I would try to trade up for.

It seems like I cannot edit the poll, so Travis Etienne is the Steelers pick.

Didn't vote for him, have no complaints. BPA and all that. Would have been happy with him, JOK, or Davis. Would not have been happy with anyone else listed, unless there was an additional second rounder in the deal.

I agree the biggest issue last year was the efficiency of the offense. Granted there were a number of reasons for it including o-line, scheme, running game, QB play, dropped passes, etc. The first game last year with Wisnewski and Banner, the Steelers had a running game. With Banner back and Dotson taking over left guard, a new scheme (OC), and less drops, the offense becomes more efficient, allowing the defense to not be on the field as much. Even with the all the changes, I believe it is going to be an 9-8 or 8-9 season at best because of the difficulty in the schedule.

Man I pray we take anyone over a Rb 1st round.
2 me that be like taking a Wr 1st round this year, with all the holes we have. Seems like a Jerry Jones move.
By the time your team is good enough for that Rb 2 actually push you over the edge, or the top, he's wore out, and done, or cost 2 much.
    JMO.
I mean consensus on here seems 2 be that Saquon B. is one of the greatest Rbs out there. How many wins has he accounted for since hes been in the league??

I agree, I’d be shocked if this is the route they go on draft night. The board would have to break really bad for them to take a RB at 24.

I think it will be defense or O-line all the way at that pick.

I get your viewpoint, but I am guessing the Steelers brass is going to draft to get Ben one more shot. And the Steelers may decide RB is their biggest need for the offense. If they believe Snell and McFarland can get it done, we may get that OT. Five of them went off the board in this mock draft before the Steelers picked. I doubt all five of those guys are picked before the Steelers pick. Incidentally, I saw in the NFL comparables, Larry Roundtree"s comparison was McFarland, so maybe McFarland can be successful.

I think the linemen in this draft is easily 25-30 deep. This one is loaded.

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Jeremiah Owasu-Kamorah, LB, ND. They have so many needs on defense this pick may fill them all.

    Browns take:

    AZEEZ OJULARI, GEORGIA Edge Rusher

According to PFF, its considered a need for them, and he seems to like the idea of playing with Myles Garrett
