That's why rooting against the Bills last week was wrong

They've now mailed it in. If (and hopefully it won't), the Steelers need a Bills win against the Jets in week 17, the Bills won't give a sh*^ (and I don't care that Rex will want to win - he doesn't play).

You wanted the Bills to stay in it to challenge the Jets. Even at 6 losses, the Steelers still had a game lead and the tiebreaker vs the Bills.

The Steelers have two realistic paths

    1. Win out
    2. Lose today, win the last 2 and have the Jets lose to the Pats.

Yes, there are other ways, but those are the only ones that have any realistic chance of happening.

I think we will win out but at the very least, win 2 of the next 3.

At worst, we will end up tied with the Jets because no way they beat NE.

That's what I'm hoping for (at worst). But the Jets have played the Pats very close and tough over the past few years. Since 2012, just about every game has been 7 pts or less (and most have been 3 pts or less). The Jets had control of the last game in NE. So while I think the Pats should win, I would not be shocked if the Jets stole one (especially at home).

The Pats can't lay down vs the Jets if the Broncos beat the Steelers today since they would need to win to maintain the 1 seed (they'll still be in good shape for the bye) or else I could see the Pats "throwing" that game.
