I'm always surprised when they manage to go a full game with no PI or holding.

No one talks about the missed PI call on Bryants TD because it didn't cost the Steelers. That was blatant and the worst call of the night and should get the crew a fine for blowing that one. Stevie Wonder makes that call.

He was being held before the ball was thrown.

 

It was tipped because he held Rodgers. Yanking his jersey held him back enough that it allowed him to get into position to defend the pass. Ben fit it in a small window where there's no margin for error, like the DB tugging on your jersey.

Enough of the "rigged" loser talk! The Steelers had their chances tonight despite the fact the Patriots had to overcome some pretty bad calls and non-calls. But rigged? The refs couldn't rig Gronk ripping them apart going down the field. The refs couldn't rig Brown getting injured on a fluke play in the end zone. The refs didn't tell Haley to play turtle ball with 4 minutes left instead of going for the kill.

All this rigged talk is just laughable because when the Steelers win, you go to another team's board and they're complaining about the same thing! Seahawk fans are STILL complaining about the Detroit Super Bowl!

What cracks me up about the Bryant catch... the officials think he just wanted to catch that one handed for the highlight reals? Did they think he was just trying to make a trick catch or did they just ignore the fact that his other arm was being held? Its' hilarious...cause it was so obvious.

Do you think they can call a holding call on every play? YES, can they say that every catch te ball moved ? YES , can they call defensive PI on every play? YES,, so in their toolbox the refs can call any one of these whenever they are not getting the outcome they want. The refs are paid by the league, the announcers are paid by the Networks, who are partners with the league, there is too many dollars involved, lots oj jobs etc, they want people interested,watcing these games, getting brainwashed into these commercials etc, they cant control injuries and incredible catches or plays(like the one JUJU made) but they can make it up ,on the next play or series if they have time, or thru controlling coaching, now its harder to win in New England than it is on the road for them, so for whatever reason the Patriots are getting every advantage, just like they did in the Super Bowl vs Atlanta, all Atlanta needed to do is kick a fieldgoal at the end and game was over,why on GODS GREEN EARTH WOULD THEY NOT DO THAT?
