That ring you just heard, was Goodell on the phone to KC, telling them to lay down.

That article has no actual quotes from Reid. Let's see what the fat man says today in his presser. Also, YES, IT IS laying down if you rest your starters.

Sorry, I think that is BS. There is a difference between laying down and resting your starters for a postseason run.

Semantics. Not trying your best to win or not trying your best to stop your opponent from winning is laying down. Potato potato.

I don't think it's semantics. IMHO laying down is an intentional impact on the outcome of the game.

yes lay down is a thing play the backups is another .. but at the end the outcome is almost the same if you play a good team in full force

Yeah I think that was the game when FWP became "something". He blitzed Buffalo for like 150 yards out of seemingly nowhere.

If you're not putting your best players on the field to play, you're laying down. Period.

Sometimes you're laying down WITH your best players on the field, just look at the Washington Generals. Or the Cleveland Browns!

Yes, he came off the bench to rush for over 100 yards, including a long run in the 4th quarter to win the game. The final drive was engineered by Brian St. Pierre, in fact.
