Was looking at the pictures and it looks like Point State Park was totally flooded, but PNC and Heinz Field (Still fighting Accrisure) seemed to be mostly unaffected as the water didn’t get up to stadium level.

Kind of surprised me as I didn’t notice that it was that much higher the few times I’ve been down there!

PNC may not be under water, but the Pirates certainly seem to be.

That area is commonly referred to as the bathtub due to flooding issues. I didn't know about that until a youtube series I watch on Cities Skylines was doing a 1:1 recreation of Pittsburgh and that was an area he was going to be addressing in his urban renewal finale.

As usual, Steelers training camp can't come fast enough.

They’re just trying to flush the Pirates management down the sewer where they belong.

Why do the Buccos alway fade after 4 weeks or so? It’s not like they are tired. It’s baseball!

They've actually evolved gills and can now enjoy there forever stay there.

I keep hoping with the way prices keep rising people stop wasting their hard earned dollars on going to games.

I'd be curious how many folks in the stands at PNC on any given night are there as visitors rooting for the other team or just neutral travelers out to experience that fabulous stadium, setting and view? It has to be a higher percentage than possibly any other MLB stadium. Dodger Stadium doesn't count because the population is comprised of a bunch of transplants (like me) who rarely root for the Dodgers (unless they're playing someone in our division. :drinks:

I don't know, but Wrigley field has at many times been what you are saying.

Probably true but those Cubbie (and Redsox fans) are loyal to a fault and keep attending even after a half century of failures. I'd bet the closest Walmart draws more shoppers than Pirates do fans on many weekday nights. Otherwise, PNC is an awesome experience where you might even see a decent baseball game occasionally. :lolol:

I've been based in San Diego for 58 years now and I still consider myself a transplant. The only guaranteed sell outs at Petco year after year are when the Dodgers are in town. Lots of blue in the stands then!
