No great insights here but I gotta say I'll be going into the offseason feeling a lot better about the team given how things came together in the later part of the season. Yeah another non-winning season is tough but I think most of you agree it could have been a lot gloomier of an offseason... at least the guys left us with some hope for the future.

So, thanks for leaving (IMO) on a high note.... next year let's Win The North

Looking forward to continuing my lurking in the Draft Room (oh and TTF... this ones for you :drinks:)

It definitely is a reason for optimism for 2014. I think I read that our offence averaged over 28 points/game over the past 9 games. Pretty good stuff. Althoguh that may have been overall scoring which our D contributed, not sure. Either way, I like the way our Offence looks.

Sorry, but F the silver lining BS. Back to back 8-8 seasons with no playoffs. That's unacceptable.

Teams like the Jets, Browns, etc feel good about mediocrity, not the Steelers!!

Nah, we lost like 12 games in a row and then were ][ close to making the playoffs. We were the laughing stock of the league and competing for the #1 draft pick spot several weeks ago. I ll hold my head high bc whatever the problem was, its almost fixed.

Sorry - But I still need some time to wollow. This season was a big head scratcher.

There were so many opportunities and this team fizzled when they could have been making plays. From fumbling in the first game all the way to the Phins loss.

    Like DC said. MEDIOCRITY SUCKS!

And for the most part that is exactly what this team was. It was only in time of desperation that they actually started playing well.

Lets just hope they take next season more seriously.
