I think he just had his best called game in his coaching career.

Of course there is execution and talent but great scheme today.

Wish I had the all 22 to see what was frustrating the Ravens offense.

I remember him as a DC in Cinci and was never a fan but I glad to be put in my place today.

I was following a stream on YT and a coulple in the chat said fire him after the last TD, lol. They held the top scoring O to 16 pts. One thing this game showed me is they can play with anyone with this D. O needs more work, but this is a quality win for the D.

This is just me but in modern rules football...holding a team to 20 or less points is efficient in 2024.

We have a formula for Jackson, it’s been working for a while.

Austin did call a great game but a great gameplan alone doesn't beget success against a team like Baltimore. Have to have the horses to do so. Thankfully, Pittsburgh has that in spades.

Never been a fan of Austin, but I got to give him credit yesterday. I think he called the right amount of blitzes against Lamar.

We always seem to play running QB’s well, especially Lamar. I don’t understand why we don’t play that kind of defense against other teams. If we played with that kind of aggression and passion against Dallas and Indy surely those would have been blowouts. I think Tomlin is willing to be more aggressive on defense now because he knows we have an offense that can score points if we get down by a couple of scores.

they have the HIGHEST PAID defense in the league.

    THEY BETTER play well!

some of us HERE could LEAD TJ, Cam, Minkah, and the like. we huddle them and say "you guys are the best players in the league - to whip their tails!" Yes - Austin and Tomlin are doing fine on that side of the ball - but come on.....come on.

I don’t really think of Austin as the DC. I think of Tomlin as the DC. I think of Austin as the assistant DC. Its the same with the OC’s for teams like SF or LA Rams or Miami.
