Isn't a bridge in Arkansas the second story of an outhouse?

Maybe not, but he played well enough to allow Minkah to be a difference maker. Outside of the year he was hurt, He made All Pro first team every year next to Terrell. Last year when he had to wear too many hats he didn't.

I figure it's either that or they go Safety heavy for now with Logan Lee done for the year.

Actually, I think this may put Beanie Bishop on the bench

Beanie is listed as a nickle back first on the depth chart

    Isn’t Edmunds a strong safety

You are making excuses for a guy who was only average at best, but I guy that couldn't keep a job after He left.....a Guy we picked on when We played Him, and people make fun of Mason Rudolph.

Actually brings the roster to 53. Remember we still had a roster spot available.

Probably depth for the slot. He's a fine enough SS back up at this stage of his career but his usage in the slot went up the last few seasons in Pittsburgh. I'd imagine we are keeping him around in case Bishop goes down or we lose confidence in him.

Yes, but he's athletic enough to be moved around... especially closer to the line e to cover those intermediate routes that slot receivers are best known for

I imagine they would have kept him if he was willing to sign cheap as a backup, which is what he is doing now. He is fine in that role. Just don't start him.

I assume that is exactly what he will do. He can play special teams and back up DeShon Elliott.

Fred Warner was one I said that had an outside chance. Due to how neither Tomlin nor Colbert appeared at his pro day though, I knew it wasn't going to happen.

It was never who they would have taken. It was about who they should have taken. There were many options better than Edmunds.

Assume he's washed up. But if the steelers are interested maybe Tomlin thinks he can get something out of him.

    Emergency backup level only probably

No idea what he had left but hope this works out for him. He seems like a nice guy and it’s not his fault he was over drafted
