No way T'eo is there for us in the draft. He will be gone in the top ten. We need to look at CB/Safety or Best Player Available (except QB) for our 1st round pick.

 

A lot of experts have him falling some even past us.

 

When he gets run over by Alabama tonight his stock will fall.

 

Same thing was said about DeCastro last year and others before that...but its the draft and happens all the time. So it wouldnt shock me if it did.

 

I'm planning on doing what I did last year. About pick 12 (think it was 17 or so last year) I'm going to make a list of the 5 or 6 players I really like who are still on the board. I'm thinking T'eo will be one of them. And I'll be alternatly hoping that they trade up for him, that he keeps falling, or that I will be just as happy with so and so.

 

So far all i have seen him do in this game is miss tckls,

 

Which is VERY rare for him

If we draft teo can he be backup qb as well? I think i saw him #5 take some snaps!!!

That's what I'm screaming. Either finish the O-line with Warmack or trade down!

 

Some people have bad games, but Bowl games are very important in scouting out a player. This is elite competition where the big boys shine, and he is not shining. To me that is a red flag.

 

Curious what Hack thinks, he was pimping him big time.

 

the compitition will be even better next year. these LB'ers always show high at first and drop. he's not 17 worthy. still a good player though.

Here's what i believe we will draft in no certain order , the 1'st three rnds... safety , linebacker , runningback.

 

In Te'o's defense, there's a very good NFL OL going against a good NCAA DL. Notre Dame is completely overmatched. I don't think Timmons could do much tonight behind that DL going against Bama's OL. I was hoping for a better performance though, as he is out of position quite a bit and missing tackles to boot.

 

I LOVE IT!!!!! With every missed tackle he has a better chance of making it to 17! Again...its the Steelers Board Goldilocks syndrome.....Te'o is to good...he will never make it to 17.....bad game....Te'o sucks...I would not take him at 17.

Te'o, Warmack, Jones.....Love them all!

While I haven't watched much of the game...I'm not going to let one game turn him into a bum who isnt worth the pick/etc. They are out matched. ND doesnt have the players Alabama has...and while Teo has had a bad game...there are 10 others on the field too and 1 guy cannot do it all. You could put the best ILB ever in his place and not get a much better result.

 

not to crazy about hearing jones will need lis-frank(sp?) surgery on his ankle but there's another guy that just may drop some by draftime.

i'm not saying teo is not good enough, but every year these lb'ers are ranked high at first and usually drop a good bit by draft day.

 

The guy is good, but he is a bit overrated (even before this game). A MLB at 17 better damn well be NO QUESTION the guy. The first time he tackles in a Steelers Uni like he did tonight he will be the reason for much angry typing here.
