    looks like the regular refs will be back next week. even if they get a deal done by friday, they wont be able to ge all the regulars dialed in for this sunday. although it wouldnt surprise me if they get a couple crews together for the sunday and monday night games.

    i dont think they want another nationally televised debacle again.

    Latest reports have them back in time for Sundays games, this Thursday will be the last game for the replacements. Thank God :applaud:

    Interesting, I hadn't thought of that angle, wouldn't be surprised if some powerful people leaned on these guys as a result of that. I'm actually surprised that the NFL buckled because their pockets weren't being affected, people were bitching but still watching, the owners had no reason to cave in. So maybe it does have something to do with that :hmmm:
