I’m older than color TVs and I want Tomlin to give me a chance.

Who does he want us to cut so he can try his fantasy? We are at the point where rosters are limited. Check back in mid February.

 

I remember really liking him and having high hopes.....

Big tall and fast with decent hands.....

I hope he gets a chance..... If someone gets injuryed/ ir or a spot opens up ....... Maybe he can be PS until next year......

He went somewhere after us. Can't remember where. Didn't he get in trouble for something? He was pretty good but something got him canned. I can't remember. I haven't been around before color TVs but I was around before most people had them.

 

I can remember my family getting our first color TV, I was little and thought I died
and went to heaven. What a difference. (3) PGH stations we got at that time. Yoy.

 

I remember getting 2,4 7 out of wheeling,WV, 9 from steubenville,oh., and if the cosmos was right and the stars aligned, 11 and 56 or 13 on the VHS tuner, It was fuzzy but it counted.

 

He went to the Colts, then got an 8 game suspension for PEDs and they cut him.

I can’t link that to televisions though.

 

For about 15 minutes, dad taped one of those plastic films, blue on top, green on the bottom, so we would think our b&w TV was color.

 

Hilarious - I was just going to post about seeing one of these on a grade school guys TV who bragged about having "Color TV". I thought it was a custom job using colored Saran Wrap but looks like it was actually a product you could purchase. It was set up to take advantage of mainly westerns and military combat TV shows with blue sky up top, green grass and shrubs at the bottom and brown/tan horses, wagons, tanks, cows and cowboys in the middle. It was very disturbing even as a snot-nosed kid way back in the late 50's-early 60's. A pre-cursor to those weird red/blue cardboard 3D glasses handed out at movies theaters and drive-ins.

We had 3.5 channels. 2 (KDKA), 11, 33....and 56 sometimes. We had one of those rooftop antennas that you could move by remote control.

 

Sadly, Bennie passed away a few months ago.

 

Thats also when kids were Dads remote and antenna movers, yeah, change the channel boy, move those rabbit ears back and forth, I remember doing that with my kids............

 

Why are people complaining about a possible extra body at training camp? It make sense to bring in another tight end to take McGee's spot, but I doubt he's going to get a real shot at making the team.

 

There is a limit to how many the can take to camp. If he goes to camp, someone else has to be cut. I guess it comes down to who you cut for a guy who isn’t going to get a real shot at making the team.

 

When the motor that rotates the antenna on top of the roof... Usually against the fireplace... I had to go on the roof, mom would be on the ground near the door or window relaying messages from dad on how to turn the antenna.....

LOL...... I was also the indoor remote/ official channel changer....

If a spot opens up, and he passes his physical/ urine screen tests And is in Great Shape I hope they give him a tryout..... He had real potential a few years back.

I get that, but it makes sense that they would bring a fourth tight end to camp. Was there someone you had in mind for that spot?

 

Is that including the Rugby player who is a roster exception that will go through camp with them.
