Did he say something similar?
He took a one man stand against participation trophies for kids a few years back, especially his own. But you already knew that, right?
Just read about the fatal light plane crash in your zip code yesterday. Everyone OK?
I vaguely recall that. I had forgotten I like him more now.....
Yeah, my brother told me about it. I'm in Portland right now and my wife was at work. It came down about 3/4 of a mile east of my house. I know someone who lives in that neighborhood though.....
Glad all's well. I'm honestly surprised it doesn't happen more often but tell that to the families of numerous musicians and sports celebs whose lives ended that way.
University of North Dakota has a very highly rated aviation program but you'd be surprised how many students crash. When I worked sorting mail at the airport we watch a student flip a little dragonfly helicopter on its head and crash. Thing is basically a bubble cockpit and engine and the kid flipped it on its head. reasons I don't ever fly out of ND
My brother is a pilot having flown everything from trainers to F-16s. 4 times in his log books in the notes section it says “crashed”. Once he called me for a ride from the next hill over from my house. I looked outside and saw him planted in my neighbors corn field.
I use 2 go up with a crop duster back in the day, but He would try 2 scare Me every time so I quit.
He had wreaked a few times....His last ....He caught a High line....that was His last.....glad I stopped going up.
Not big on putting My Life in others hand I learned.
