When people on here start talking depth, this is where the players the team was hoping to develop into that depth go to.

Ingram may or may not be on the team in next season. Now you have to find that next man up to bring in to develop mid season while not having guys that came through camp with you to rely on if needed.

I'm seeing a lot of folks talking about the O-line, but they did have guys they were trying to develop that were lost to other teams. It's the way the league works. They may not be superstars, but you need the role players as well.

This ain’t our parents or grandparents Steelers anymore... hard to build, keep and nourish within the money game. The world today sports minded, exposes tenured beliefs but even those that have tried/ trusted and proven trials have been and are increasingly being weighlayed due to current times. It’s all a a guessing game of tried and true science of who does it better than others. Our team don’t have the market to compete with current trends, but they never have and it’s been alright for the most part but like with everything else even bucking the odds and going with tradition needs to have the right minds in place and that may be where things get muddied round here in some aspects.

Do other teams get poached as much as the Steelers? Buehler? Anyone?
    I really don't have a clue.

I don’t think it’s anymore than other teams. Really how many of these guys actually go on to be something good for another team? I mean I’m sure it happens, just not very often.

Undrafted out of ND, where he had 38 tackles in three years. What makes anyone think there's a diamond in the rough here?

Losing both Jones AND Roche stings. I certainly wanted to see if Roche could develop.

I have 2 agree. He was one of My favorite picks this year. One of the few We picked that I had My eye on ....other than N.Harris. Doesn't mean He will be Good , but I was intrigued.

I think it is fairly rare, too. But something to think about; Arians "retired" when Steelers wouldn't give him a head coaching job. Now he has a Super Bowl ring. But would it have happened without Brady? Things to ponder...

Didn’t know until now that Jones initially blocked the double punt from Thursday’s game.

    immediate special teams impact.
