    He was #1 on my free agent wish list. Of course, I was not looking at anywhere near 2 years/$8 million. Oh well.

    I wanted him on the Steelers he's young and has started before. I'm tired of the Leftwich and Batch tandem as our backup qb.

    My wishlist consists of Colt McCoy for a backup qb but I'd say we can't afford him anyway. Just sayin' is all.

    I agree. Colt got a raw deal (like most everyone else) in Cleveland. He's a decent QB and would make a good back up. Not sure about affording him though.

    And the former short term Steeler Hoyer got a 2nd round tender from AZ...looks like they really want to keep him. I was hoping the Steelers could have kept him...but injuries in other positions forced their hand.
