I was thinking this too...but who knows any technicalities/etc as far as rules and so on. Either way though...once everything is said and done...he can easily be suspended again (by the team and/or league).

Do you think Troy will play a role in mentoring Ta'amu going forward since they are both of Samoan descent?

I hope that's the case since Troy is as straight laced as they come and Ta'amu is obviously a troubled young man. Perhaps he could benefit from Troy's tutelage.

Troy was actually just named the "most popular player in the league" by Forbes Magazine so if he could mentor Ta'Amu that would be good. But I gotta feeling Ta'Amu is gonna be getting mentored by someone with a name like Bubba or something.

I saw that. I also saw that Rob Gronkowski was named one of the most liked which surprised me a little. He just seems like a punk to me. Of course, all the Patriots seem like punks to me. :-D

I don't know why people say that about Gronk. He's not a punk, he just has fun. He likes women, he likes to go to the bars and he likes his celebration dances. The guy comes to play every game though and you never hear a bad thing about him in relation to football. He just seems to enjoy life and has fun playing football. I bet we have guys on our team who are much bigger punks than Gronk is, they just don't get the same media recognition he does.

I think Gronk is funny too. I laughed my butt off when I seen him do that british soldier thing. I knew EXACTLY what he was doing and I just HAD to laugh. He looked like a mechanical nutcracker wind up toy thingy. LOL. That was a classic as far as I'm concerned. I think he usually does things all in good fun. I don't see him as a taunter or anything.

This could mean that Hampton probably won't be released next year. He'll take another pay cut but i can see him being here next year.

It's too early to tell really what will happen next year, but he won't be 'released' as this is the last year of his contract. His cap hit was almost 5 million this year, so there's a lot of incentive obviously to keep him on the field if he's healthy. Next year's numbers are pretty tight...

    Proof?
