You know what’s great about not paying one guy 112 million. When you spread the money out on these DBs and LBs we picked up (they are looking good). 100 million dollars isn’t sitting on the sideline because one guy got hurt.

A game and a half. 5 defensive players out.
Sounds about par for the course.
    Every stinking season.

    Worth every penny!

It’s unfortunate he’s got a knock today but he earned that contract by playing lights out since he got here.

Just be happy we’ve got another 4 years of him causing havoc

I understand the frustration. He will be back quick though. Bush is the one who really concerns me. Missed most of last season and now he’s already having issues. He probably isn’t ready to be out there full on yet.

What's up with all these groin injuries? 4 in one week??? I wonder if TJ actually injured it during practice when everyone else was injured. Poor shoes? Bad practice field? Dangerous drill? Whatever it is, they need to figure it out stat.

I knew this was coming, and I love TJ.
You cannot miss live action and expect to be in football shape.
Doesn't happen, just like you can't turn it on and off. It doesn't work.
Tuite will be worthless until he has 4- 5 GAMES under his belt. I have played
competitive football many many years ago, it didn't work then and it won't work now.

Wrong the guy takes off way to many plays he’s a part time player with zero sacks in a playoff game.

Again I have to ask what is Haden and Bush's excuse? If DJ is hurt seriously what was his excuse? Not that there isn't merit to the belief that being in football shape can limit chances for injury just that the direct link isn't that clear.

I’d rather have the injury crisis now than in December. That was a bad result today but they can recover

The performance on offence is what really worries me. They can’t move the chains, far too many three n’outs and stalled drives

What did 39 do today? Starting to wonder if he is a little over - rated. Although I thought the whole secondary played bad. Sutton, Peirre, Mincha,
Edmonds, Witherspoon, Tre, etc. Carr carved them up.

I saw this on Steelers Depot the other day. In 31 games with the Steelers Minkah has 146 tackles with Nine interceptions 21 passes defensed, a forced fumble and 3 defensive TD's. I knew he was good but not that good. Butler made a bad choice on doubling Waller and letting his zone guys try and cover the speedy Raiders one on one. He should have let Waller go and have Carr force the ball to him and let Minkah ball hawk around him

I'm way more concerned about Alualu's broken ankle more so than TJ's groin injury.

This D is not deep. Not necessarily anyone’s fault, it just is. Lose Watt, Haden, AluAlu, Bush, Tuitt, these guys get average when Spillane, Buggs and Layne get a lot of play time.

The defense has good depth. If you loose 5 starts and replace them with backups any defense would struggle with that.

These games now count, too. Healthy, the Steelers are better than the Raiders. The injuries handed this game to Las Vegas.

Yes of course, at the start of the week the Raiders had some injuries but the advantage flipped completely. Carr must have thought it was Christmas when Haden and Bush couldn’t go, never mind when TJ and Tyson were lost early in the game and he had all day in the pocket

My point about December was that if you are healthy and still in the playoff hunt in December you have a chance. It was clear through last December that the steelers were limping towards the finish line. If we are going to have injuries id prefer to have them now (albeit I understand that having them now is no guarantee you don’t have more later).
