Me either I thought running backs were a bright spot, outside a few fumbles that were costly. But, hard to put that on a running backs coach.

Finally we are getting a new Running Backs Coach! Mike Tomlin runs a tight ship.

I think the plan is to decimate the offense to the point where the blame is shifted from the defense.

This seems like a bad move, honestly. The Steelers running game wasn't badly ranked because it was bad but because they consistently shied away from it. Really weird move.

That one seems like a strange one on the surface..... I mean the success of Conner and Samuels would seem to be a good indicator..... maybe not?

Well the running game was not the problem. So not sure what is up with this one.

Time to bring in Kevin Greene to get these linebackers ready to rock.

Right? People downplaying a move like this are being facetious. It's a really weird move.

So...He had an All Pro in Bell...Had a RB in Conner who was leading the league in most stats at his position before injuries...And made basically a college TE/FB look better and better every week the year went on...

Damn, This organization continues to confuse me...They must know a lot more that's going on than I do...* obviously ( I love saying that )

I did NOT see this one coming!!!

Maybe there was some insubordination over the last week or something else happened,,,,, By ALL accounts and reports he was classy , well like by players, coaches and media AND seemed to do a very good job!!!!

    Puzzling this is!!! Understand I don't !!!

But by all means let's keep Keith "Aw shucks" Butler around. All these defensive head coaches let go, nope let's stick with this.

You wanna change the culture? Fix your D so they dont give up 4 4th qtr leads and fix the special teams. That’s what cost us

These firings arent really helping this team at all.

It sure seems like it. I never used to doubt the management of this team and wouldn't really question a move like this, but the last few years have really made me question Rooney, Colbert and everyone else deciding what's best for this team. I've simply lost faith, do I no longer have confidence that the moves they make are the right ones.

This one makes no sense unless there's more we don't know.

Truth be told if you remember several years ago there was talk of new ownership because the Rooneys had to reorganize their gambling ventures. I knew it was never going to happen but wished it did. This ownership is too wrapped up in their past to ever evolve.

Very similar to the most recent draft. Fix what's not broken.

Yeah, fire the coach who has produced Pro Bowlers year after year for 5 years straight. Even Samuels looked great in limited action. I realize we have a stellar o-line responsible for a lot of that, but this still just seems ridiculous.

Add in that he and Tomlin had a previous relationship with the Vikings which was why he was brought in after they let their longtime rb coach go to the Vikings. It is a strange move no doubt unless it a look what I do to my friends type of power play.
