I actually think the 49ers have a more talented team but Mahomes is just so clutch.

Talk about playing with fire! Not calling a TO with the running clock like that! Crazy confidence!

Man that Chris Jones is a game wrecker.

    He might be the mvp.

Brock Purdy is no Kenny Picket. He does have way more talent around him.

I don’t know how they’re not talking about the running clock?

I looked up as they were lining up thinking they had at least 30 seconds and it was at 9 and running!

I am pretty sure this is wrong.

Both Teams get guaranteed a possession. The OT does not end on the 1st touchdown.

Super Bowl overtime rules: What awaits 49ers, Chiefs after regulation? (msn.com)
How does overtime work in Super Bowl?
The format is quite similar to what fans are accustomed to in the regular season, with two significant exceptions: Both teams will have the chance to possess the ball and games cannot end in ties.

There is a three-minute intermission after the end of regulation, leading to a midfield coin toss exactly like the one at the start of games, during which the visiting team captain makes the call. The winning team can either choose to receive or kick the ball, opt to defend a certain goal post or defer the decision. If the team that receives the ball first scores a touchdown on its first possession, the game will continue and the second team will have the chance to possess the ball. If the game remains tied after the second team's possession ends, then sudden-death rules will apply: first score wins.

Right now the 49ers 2024 Super Bowl Championship T-shirts are being shipped to some remote village.

Yeah they talked about it being new rules, thought they just meant the one that was changed after the Steelers/Denver game. Missed the each team gets a shot regardless of the scoring type!

I’m still upset we let a guy of that caliber walk.

And the Chiefs used this to their advantage by going for it on 4th down tonight when setting up the game winning score.

Great game! Especially for those of us who like defense! They only showed Taylor 12 times!

Yeah, I was confused there about why they kept talking about the first one with the new rules. This must have been after the KC/Bills game

It's not regardless of score type. A defensive TD ends the game.

Come on Kelce, apologize to Andy Reid for scarring him and almost giving him a heart-attack.

Shame on Kelce for yelling at an old man like that! :)

So... can we all officially call the AFC Divisional Playoffs the "Patrick Mahomes Invitational"?!

Sure as hell seems that way imo.

They had a guy that was playing better than him that they paid before he was injured, lost his brother and decided football wasn't his passion anymore.

Went over to a few 49ers forums. Their fans are tired of Kyle Shanahan and they think they need a real QB.

NFL fans are all the same :roflmao:

I mean, he did have to win that on the road this year.

Best QB wins these games......that's just the way it is.
