Let's say for argument's sake that we make it to the Superbowl. Which rematch would you like to see. Steelers- Seahawks, Steelers-Packers,or Steelers -Cardinals, or even Steelers - Cowboys out of the 4 teams i mentioned i believe the Cowboys would be the easiest to beat. But personaly i would like to to see a Packers , Steelers SB. Between the Cards, Seahawks there defence makes me nervous, esp there secondary . Packers realy havent impressed me this year.. I think BA is the best coach in the league right now.. and he would no Bens tendacies and shut him down easier than others. imo.. As far as the nfl promoting the game revenue what not. Steelers Packers IMO would be the game most would want to see Iknow we have a long up hill battle with a inconsistant team.. But here is to hope:steelflag: Feel free to weigh in i would like to hear other's thoughts on this

The Cards would be the best matchup for our defense, especially if Stanton remains out. The other teams can all score some points, even if they do it in different ways. I think on balance I also like the matchup with Dallas better when considering both sides of the ball, and I think that Dallas would be the biggest draw from a media perspective as well. Imagine Steelers vs. Cowboys round 4?

I don't see the Cards making it, they don't have a QB.

Last time the Steelers played the SB champs - 1979 they beat them. So, let's go with the Seachickens

Packers game would be the hardest, Rodgers would destroy us.

Dallas would be the next hardest, with that offensive line, Romo could be sipping on Margarita's back there while he picked us apart. Murray would probably run all over us too.

Seattle defense would be tough challenge.

The Cardinals would be the easiest of the 4, not that it would be easy but our best chance would be against them.

BA is a pretty classless guy and I'd say that he probably would talk a lot of garbage about the Steelers honestly.

If the Steelers do go to the Superbowl I would not want them paired up in any rematch.

I would want cards out of those choices. seattle wouldn't be bad because I think our offense matches up against them well. speed seems to hurt em.

BA said some stuff about the Rams that wasn't a really nice thing to say. They've had some key injuries too and have a journeyman qb. What he said just seemed kinda low class. He has also said some condescending things about the Steelers since the Rooney's (thankfully) "retired" him.

Right, And did BA's jumping around change the call on the field in any shape or form? Are we back to this idea that a coaches ability is solely reflected in how animated he can get for the cameras?

Aside from all that... I don't get this idea that Tomlin doesn't protest bad calls. It's simply not true.

    Tomlin protesting a bad call:

Obviously, I feel like you missed that call. You've got to own that. This is the NFL and the standard is the standard. Obviously, I'm not looking for style points, I'm just looking for the right call, obviously. You got a hat today for a reason now you've got to wear that. Okay, it's December and it's obviously time to unleash hell (as he tosses the red challenge flag).

*He's then charged a timeout because he's out of challenges. ;)

That's probably accurate but would you trade it for how BA acted Thursday Night?

    "That's Bulls**t, that's Bulls**t! F'n total Bulls**t!"

"It just fell out of my pocket" as the flag is 7 yards into the middle of the field and he's telling his player to "pick it up, pick it up"

I mean it makes for great comedy but he really should be fined dropping F bombs on national TV and the producer should be fired for staying on his little tirade.

Hairballs are the worst though. I can't believe some people would like those little bratty brothers to coach the Steelers. Every Sunday you could teach the children how to be more and more disrespectful to authority and throw temper tantrums when the pacifier children don't get heir way..

    JMHO.

Don't want to spoil the fun here and sound pessimistic but in reality IMO don't see the Cardnials or the Steelers going to the big show. I do like the progression made this year and possibly a division win the first in several yrs. But don't see going deep in PO's .

The lack of consistency, poor pass rush along with no secondary is our achilles and with AZ's weak offense. BA stated he don't even see Stanton back for there Seahawk game in two weeks. Can lindley get it done?. Don't see the matchup this season, though does make for a great hypothetical. :smiley1:

To get to the Superbowl, an AFC team will have to win in Denver and in New England. If any team other than those two do that, then I say neither of these rematches look so tough. I do think GB is probably the best team in the NFC this year. However, if Foles comes back, I wouldn't count out the Eagles. They have a solid defense, great special teams, and a good running game. Steelers only have 1 of those.

I think New England and especially Denver have looked a little more vulnerable of late. Maybe Manning's age and lack of arm strength is finally catching up with him. We CAN beat either one if those teams IF we play like we're capable of playing!

We'll have to live and die with the blitz if we play NE or Denver, especially NE. Better dial up the Colts game plan, I don't like our chances much against either of them.

I've got a feeling the final 4 in the AFC will include Brady, Manning, and Ben. With 11 AFC championships between them, just imaging if you are that 4th team!
