Your point? Denver and LAC were both top 3 defenses and he won those games. The best two defenses Russ beat were the 9th ranked Ravens and the 18th ranked Commanders.

And yeah, that is why Hurts is a multiple PB, one time All Pro, runner up MVP type of player. Fields isn't that, but he doesn't have to be to win games. He was fine for us last year and our offensive weapons were whack. I think simply - adding a real #2 and a RB that can actually hurt a defense if the hole is blocked for him - will be enough to make him look a bit better. It would be worth a shot imo.
