I mean Good God. Why is he even on the team from the start of the season? He is a pathetic little girl who I would like to punch in his eyelid. Barely makes the 51 yarder. End of the half we can't trust him to go for a 55 yarder so we screw it up and get nothing. Then he misses the 47 yarder that would have made it 13-6. He is truely aweful and should be forced to walk home sliding on his but like a dog that has to take a dump which is what he is.

He's certainly not the priority blame recipient, but I'm a bit disappointed with his skills.

Sushi stunk it up tonight but certainly not the reason we lost. Our O sukked bolz and the 9ers D showed why they are the best in the NFL. Our franchise QB coughed up the ball 4 times BTW. Not sure if you noticed...

I really hated how Suisham covered Vernon Davis.
I also, was really disgusted with his 'end of half' clock management.
His blocking of the Niners pass rushers was horrendous!
Ya, and what's up with him 'barely' MAKING the 51 yard FG??
His missing, a 47 yarder(barely), was truly the key to the game.
Did I mention his throwing into triple coverage?

Ummmm Homestead - you forgot a few things. Wasn't it Suisham who allowed the 49ers to drive down the field for a touchdown after a potential momentum-shifting 51-yard (barely-made) field goal? I also think it was Suisham who could not stop the 49ers on 3rd down until they got into the red zond (the first 2 times).

This was a team loss, from Tomlin on down.

I don't like Suisham and think the Steelers could do better, but geeez - this game was not the one to make the case against him.

He did his job right 50% of the time last night. That's more than I can say about a lot of the other Steelers that were out there running around. I give Ben a bit of a pass for being hobbled but still doesn't change the fact 4 turnovers will normally lose the game for you even if your kicker scores 6 points instead of 3 ;)

And this isn't the first time he's done something like this. I wonder where the "Fire Big Ben Immediately" threads are...

True. Let me just say I am in no way saying he cost us the game. I just wish we had a kicker who, when he took the field, I had confidence he was going to make it. When he made the 51 yarder, I was actually out of my chair jumping up and down- I couldnt believe it! You are absolutely 100% correct though- our entire team was horrible.

Yeah - based on last night, where are all the threads demanding that he be cut? Even HE said that the loss was on him because of the turnovers. I say CUT HIM! Hey - I heard Cleveland wants to get rid of Colt McCoy. Maybe we could do an even-up one-for-one trade! (sarcasm)

When I look at Suisham come onto the field he does not seem confident about what he's doing. He worries me everytime he kicks a field goal. Even the extra point.

I would like to see an occasional touchback on kickoffs, but then again we have to score more and get someone with a leg!

Yeah, if he would have only made that other 47 yard kick.... we could have almost won. I guess I better get back to remedial math school to sharpen my skills.

I have never trusted his foot except for PAT points. He damn near missed 2 last night. Offseason it's time to look for a replacement

Hell, excluding Gary Anderson I've felt that way with just about every kicker we've ever had when attempting any kick over 45 yards :lolol:

Even Jeff Reed in 2005-ish? He nailed the game-winner at San Diego that year. In 2008, he had a few game-winning field goals. I admit that towards the end, he became erratic, but he was good for a few years.

Yes i admit this loss has nothing to with swishem but come on guys lets be honest here do truly beleave he is a good kicker? i dont think so we need to look in adding another kicker. We never should have cut Walters at least put him the practice squad.

everytime he kicks the ball I close my eyes, might be a blessing we are not home for the playoffs since the home field has not been good to him.
