If we are going to run this throw the ball all over the yard stuff it is a must we get a Great TE ,and a Big WR....Not a knock on Ben ,but with his style of play there is no need to waste draft picks on OL IMO...

Ben really wants to play school yard Football so just draft weapon after weapon and turn him loose...

    My #4 suggestion is ...
Go back to having the backup QB do the holding for Field Goals.

It would at least give us some better options for running a trick play, and with our recent "high turnover rate" with punters would at least offer better consistancy at the holder position.

I don't belive I said that or at least I didn't mean to. My "end of the season physical" is based on the likelyhood that any "flare-ups" from past injuries might be more easily seen do to the season-long stress. :smiley1:

The CBA only spells out a "minimum pre-season physical", not anything else, and that's a "minimum", there are no "maximum limits" in regard to the number of physicals or what they can look for in them. It is suggested that in the "pre-season" physicals, that the doctors pay paticular attention (inculding x-rays, etc) of areas where a player has had a past injury.

Where I think the doctor's hands are somewhat tied (especially involving traded players), is that are left to rely on the player to divulge where their past injuries were. That's likely one of the reasons that starting in 2014 all teams will be putting their players medical histories on-line. So when a player is traded, the team doctors will now know a lot better where to look for past injuries.

    1. Get more serious in the preseason. With the lack of practices in camp due to the union, we need to play the starters more and get in sync more with our offense. Not worried about wins and loses in the preseason but better preparations was needed. We came out of camp unprepared and it showed in the preseason, hence our horrible record in the start of the season.

2 . Agreed with others we need a bigger stronger wide receiver exspecially in the red zone, instead of having so many of the small, quick guys.

    3. Another quality tight end to compliment Heath on the other side.

    4. One more good defensive back.

    5. A left tackle that can play.

    6. A punter that can punt for over 40 yard average.

    7. Coaches that organize and call plays that match the personnel.
