I really don't know much about him except he beat us. Years back I saw some teenagers reading his book and these were decent young men so I assumed he was a good role model.??????????????????

Because he was a mediocre at best qb that people put on a pedestal and spent hours upon hours talking about. Any other qb with similar skill set wouldn’t even be a footnote. He would get cut, sign somewhere else, get cut again wash, rinse, repeat. Then fans would claim he wasn’t given a chance. I think he tried with 4 different teams, but wasn’t good enough. One team tried to convert him to h-back/TE, but he refused so he quit. Then he tried baseball, but was a mediocre baseball player.

the Denver Broncos beat the Steelers in a playoff game. It’s team sport. It shouldn’t be that hard for you to grasp such a simple concept.

Man., all I know was that was my biggest fear when the game was in Denver, despite their record. Had to sit Clark down because of his sickle cell and I don't know what kind of passing defense the DC drew up that game but it was horrible and Tebow had guys wide open that he was hitting with ducks...

 

Just want to make some corrections..... Tebow went to the Patriots to play TE/QB/FB and it didn't work out like Bill wanted. And since it was towards the end of training camp, his agent advised him he should use his MLB skills due to there wasn't any NFL teams needy for a backup QB at the moment. So he made it good with the Mets off that bat and therefore didn't need to go back to the NFL. However now he's not able to keep up with the MLB other players. And his coach from college reached out to try to make him a TE like Bill originally wanted. Obviously it wasn't going to work and Tebow actually went to them saying he knew it wasn't going to work and asked for them to go ahead and release him, so he wouldn't carry attention on him away from the team and other players.

So how you can hate that, I'm lost. But maybe that's because you think he went to 4 teams trying out, cried to being a loser and went to the MLB, Etc etc.

As for people liking him, it's due to him being very outspoken with Christianity and very very humble to admitting who he is. Even on the playoffs for the broncos he admitted he's a backup QB.

 

Again.... Have to correct you. You really should look at the stats Tebow did that game..... 316 yards passing, 2TD no interceptions. And then won in OT with a 80 yard TD pass.

Was it all Tebow who won that game. No. It is team play, like you say. But you're putting him down with saying "he was mediocre at best" and then you made up that he went trying out for 4 other teams and got the axe. And lied about he quit on them.

Tebow was a very legit QB against us. He literally put up the most yards against us that season. While no other QB put up over 300 yards and over half were putting up under 200....... So as you call Tebow mediocre, he sure did make a joke out of us with being the best QB we faced all season...... Even Tom freaking Brady only did 213 yards against us.

I'll stop, because you clearly don't know what you're talking about and just want to hate Tebow for lies in your head.

 

Batting .176 is making it good right off the bat? He never averaged over 280 and that was in AA. Any actual sources for your other facts?

Here's what big Ben was and what Tebow was that game. And how Tebow scored on a 80 yard TD pass in overtime on the first throw. (I'm not going to show that video for obvious reasons. But did you even watch the game? Tebow was anything but short of being impressive)

Did you know Tebow set an NFL record in that game? For most yards for competition in a playoff game, 31.6.

Also there's a crazy list of numbers that go around biblical numbers. But I have a hunch that maybe your reason in hating him is for him being Christian.

Here's the list of who he played for and even did try outs. It says it nice and clear at the top. Also Eagles and Patriots released him at the end to get to 53 man roster. If he sucked as bad you try to make him out, he would have been cut at the first round of cuts.



Oh and since you want to put him down with playing minor league baseball. You do know his first at bat was a home run, right?

Nevermind I don't get why I ask you if you know, because all you do is look for reasons to hate him. Not sure why you think he never did better than .176. he was with multiple teams doing .222 and .231.

He also hit a home run in first at bat for the double A in 2018. He was later named the eastern all star game. Which he was batting .261 for the season and .323 the last 21 games....... But you clearly didn't know that. And I'm sure you'll come up with something of that not being good or dodge all this to saying another thing you make up as a lie to hate him for.

Ohhhhhh, I bet you're just looking up a quick stat of "major" league and not the minor league, where he was good at until injuries took over. And those times he was called in from minor to major were not great. But that's very common pulling minor players to the majors..... I'm a braves fan and one of their biggest players is Freddy Freeman. And you can't count on one hand how many times Freddy has been pulled back and forth from minor to major...... When you take a guy who hasn't played baseball in almost a decade and he does really good in the minors, you know you have a chance for him to become the next Freddy Freeman as long as you have 5 years with them to train and go back and forth.


Respond what you want. But you made it clear to me you don't know anything about Tebow and make up lies just so you can hate him.

 

holy ****. I said he’s a mediocre at best quarterback and the stays back that up. His final game preseason game as a patriot. 1-7 for -1 yards(yes negative yards) and 1 interception. His other two preseason games were 4-14 and 6-11. Included in those monster numbers were 7 sacks and another interception. There’s no record of the patriots attempting to play him at tight end or hback like you claim. Which was what I asked you to back up. He was a terrible nfl qb with a below 50% career completion percentage. The patriots let him go because he couldn’t beat out Ryan Mallett. They only carried two qb’s when Brady was there. I’m not sure if that’s still the case. Why is it so hard for y’all to get through your heads that he want that good. Y’all complain about Rudolph, but Tebow is actually worse. Now try and back up your claim that his agent pushed him to play baseball.

for the love of god Tebow never made it to the majors. He played minor league baseball. You said he tore it up his first year. I questioned your observation since he batted .176(which is terrible). Then I said his best season he never batted over .280 and that was in AA(again not good). Significantly better than .176, but you’re not making it to mlb batting below .280 in AA.

 

Color me not surprised in how you responded. So let's sum this up so far.
You lied for reasons to hate him in the NFL. I expressed how he was the hardest QB we faced for the 2011 season. And several other things that are factual. But instead you ignored it with derailing to bashing him for his major league results. But you don't understand you severally misunderstand he was a minor league and only went to the majors a few times. I even explained what a minor league player who hasn't played in almost a decade would do. And even made an example showing Freddy Freeman of the Atlanta braves.

And now you're ripping him for pre seasons games? Dang you finally got something. But regular season and kicking our ass and being a minor league player, you failed at.
