The Steelers are now 2-6 going into the bye week. How would you define a "successful" rest of this season?

    1. Make the playoffs
    2. Avoid a losing record
    3. Win a couple more games (1-3)
    4. Secure the 1st overall pick in next year's draft
    5. Make some trades to secure more draft capital
    6. Replace some coaches

At this point 1 and 2 seem pretty unrealistic. 6 also seems pretty unrealistic since it's not the "Steeler way".

Does this mean more TDs than INTs / fumbles?

I would say 3 was always my goal. I am not upset about our record. I am not upset about how Kenny is playing. These were things I expected going into this season. The issue is the game plan and it needs to be addressed -so add #6 to that one too.

Tank the season. Get the #1 pick!

Haven't had that since Terry Bradshaw.

    This season is awash anyways.

3 and 6 my vote except in #6, it should be ALL coaches. To kill the snake you cut off its head. This is figuratively speaking so relax. I didn't know who was going to start at QB until game 1 and there was some optimism on the board, somewhat. Then MT started to play exactly like the Bears and Bills thought he would, prompting a reset to a rookie whose is still an unknown. So success at this point is merely passing the eye test and looking for signs of improvement. I can take the losing and growing pain mistakes but I hope we don't play like High School buffoons the rest of the year. Play hard and be competitive is all I am hoping for now and maybe this will get some bonding within the locker room. Harris has said" we have some sh!t to figure out" amongst the players and getting that straightened out adds to the success for me. JMO>
