We all know this is not Steelers football. I believe this is the players way of telling top management ( the Rooney's) telling them to come to an agreement on Bells contract and we will start playing. No team can look this bad so fast. Your thoughts.

No. Bell has nothing to do with the 1-2-1 record. There is an obvious void of talent on the D side of the ball and the offense consistently underachieves. Underachieving is the only thing consistent about the offense.

Come to an agreement on Bell's contract? Are we going to go back in time 3 months? Bell either signs or sits. There are no other options.

The offense didnt look bad. The defense looked terrible though. Now BOTH the defense and offense stink.

I hate to break the news to people who believe Bell will be the savior of the season. It's not gonna happen. This team has so many flaws right now and there's no answers to these flaws until after the season is over.

    I think week 1 to 3 Bell wasn't missed.

But, the Week 4 Ravens game I think it was obvious that it was. I think it also has something to do with AB not playing well. When Bell plays the type of player that he is commands attention to the backfield by the secondary. I think if Bell does come back AB will take off again.

Huh? 2nd half vs. Tampa Bay was not acceptable. Bucs almost came back and won.

They only had the ball like 3 times in the second half. They missed a field goal on 1 drive and ran out the clock on the other one

You mean 11 defensive players running around like headless chickens before every play is the new way to strike?

This teams offense is all out of wack now for some reason and Bell might be a cause, a great player like that just cannot be a no show at a time like this....For the second week in a row the Steelers didn't score in the second half. Fichtner doesn't seem to be able to adjust to keep the flow of the offense going, Ben only had 50 yards passing in the second half of the Ravens game, the Steelers went punt-punt-punt-interception-four and out, wow thats sad for a team that is supposed to have a high powered offense. Conner rushed for like 19 yards on 9 carries and the Steelers converted just 2-of-12 third downs, so yea something is going on with this teams offense now and it might be a strike.

Bell is not a savior, but his absence is part of the problem.

I see Mustard is up to his usual foolishness. Bell is an All-Pro. He has earned that status for years. Conner isn't even close to that level. To say that Bell's absence isn't even part of the issue is simply ridiculous.

The team goes as Ben goes. Don't have the defensive talent to cover for his bad games anymore.

If O'Donnell didn't throw that ball straight to Bud we'd be 0-3-1 right now.

Yeah, and if Boswell makes a 43-yard FG vs. Browns... Steelers would be 2-2.

6 turnovers versus the browns and you think they played one bad half?

The players are laying down in solitary with leveon Bell? NOT A CHANCE. Pro athletes are the most competitive people on the planet. While they're ok with Bell seeking all he can get, they won't part with a dime of their own or sacrifice their value (by tanking) to help him.
