    Then just bracket the link to that pic with [​IMG]

    Thanks so much for this forum. You don't even know how many people you have made very happy. The other board was some crap. I was unable to post for about two years. It was a nightmare. It was like being locked up and having no freedom. You can't believe the relief that I have. I hope everyone comes over from the other board very soon. Once Steeler Nation realizes how easy it is to post and how great this forum is, they will come over in waves. If you are not providing a quality service for the public then you will be S. O. L. The other board was not providing a quality service for Steeler Nation so they will be S. O. L. very soon.

    Everyone should give everyone on the other board a big heads up about this board.

    Again a big thanks and shout out to you TTF!!!!!

    I was at the old site a minute ago and I had a minor epiphany. I wrote a post about it, possibly my last, and I thought I'd share it here in case anyone else felt the same way. Or, if they were like me and didn't know exactly how to feel.

    Subject: This Board's Medical Status (home is where the heart is)


    I'd say critical condition. It's on life support.

    Worse than serious, one step short of a full-blown coma.

    It's 3 PM EST and I'm the only one online. Threads from days ago are still on the first page. Nothing's 'getting done.'

    I still hope that gpguy gets through to the organization and saves our "home", but it seems clear the message they are sending is that they are through with us. Hope they change their mind.

    The other site is fantastic, and everyone should join. So many already have that if this site is saved, we will have to win people back. The more I think about it...

    Home is where the heart is. The new board quickly went from "exciting expensive hotel room with luxuries I never dreamed of" to "real home" in my heart when everyone else joined. The atmosphere is so positive there, and we're looked after. This might have been my first home, but I was abused as a child. Now I have a place where my loved ones and me are taken care of. I need to accept that my home was fun because of my brothers and sisters in it, and the home itself was mean to me. Now my brothers and sisters are in a new home, and so that's where I will be. I don't think I'll pull a Jenny/Forrest Gump and pay to have this place bulldozed to the ground. Instead I'll probably visit occasionally and look at my abusive, alcoholic dad with pity, sitting in his chair chain smoking. Then I'll go back to enjoying my new life, where I'm treated right. I don't have a dead on film metaphor for that, but I'm thinking Monster's Ball.

    It's sad, but for the best. Thank you, Steelers Message Boarders. Thanks for nothing, Steelers Message Board. (bad word) you mods.
