I have a feeling they will keep him around... he is on his rookie deal. He is not great, but he doesn't kill us either and I'm sure they FO will sign him to a cap friendly deal.

I watched a recording of the game last night. One thing about Nelson that stood out was the lack of safety support he had.

 

Yeah Tomlin said basically they were selling out to stop the run and leaving their secondary out on an island. Nelson didn’t have his best game. He had a game similar to this last season also. My point was less about Nelson and more about the continuing pilling on of Edmunds.
