I know he said he's hanging the cleats up after this year, and I know he said he was last year before his injury... But does anyone else see him coming back again? The man still has it and has as big of a chip on his shoulder as day one. I personally would not be surprised at all if he came back for another year.

I hope he does so we can help him walk off as a failure again.

I am not a big fan but anyone who body slammed Richard Sherman get my respect. Smith is tough as nails.

    Not sure honestly.

I believe he wants to return... but just unsure at what cost health wise considering he has suffered an injury earlier in the season; a ruptured achilles I believe last year the same.

Add the fact that Baltimore has some serious work to do in terms of rebuilding itself and you really do obtain a murky situation.

.... One of my all time favorite receivers of the 2000s though.

You know he's a good receiver, but what makes ticks me off is how much he gets away with on the field.

He can be good without it, but when he gets away with that crap it changes the way guys play him and really opens his game up.

You see it early in games when he should be getting OPI flags. When he doesn't and when they get a few PI's they change the way they play him and he really takes advantage when they do.

If they warn him early in games that they're going to call it, he's not as prolific.

He's a great receiver but, his "little man" complex has worn itself out.

Steve Smith annoys me too.... but I'd take him on our roster in a heartbeat. The guy can still flat out play. He's like the James Harrison of WRs.

Hate him as an opponent- but he's had a great career- was on that first Panthers SB team- and deserves HOF consideration.
