Stephon Tuitt

During OTAs there was a play where Tuitt chased down Devin Gardner 40 yds down field per Twitter, I expect Tuitt to be one of the players on defense to take the next step.

 

i hope he does take the next step and that also helps cam heyward too. i don't think we have gotten all we can out of him yet. this could be just what the dr. ordered. get both these guys playing the way they are capable and the OLB spot will also thrive as will every other level of this defense. good things will happen because these two are good enough to take over games. i've seen heyward get in that unstoppable zone before. it's a thing of beauty.

 

You think Tuitt will even make the final 53? After all, he's got to beat out Cam Thomas.

 

It's a long shot but I see him making it and Ben getting cut to make room for Cam Thomas. At least that's what I would do if I were Tomlin. That way they wouldn't be able to say anymore that I only win with Cowher's players. THAT would be a statement!
