Anyone ever heard of this guy before? He's quite the player coming out of nowhere. The Steelers evidently hadn't prepared to cover this kid. Must be a rookie coming out of a small school.

we had 1 plan blitz because we can't cover long enough their OC figured that out changed the routes and because we had to stay in cover 2 behind it we had no answer ..Another prime example of showing up with your checker set to the chess tournament .. We do this game in and game out year in and year out...

They didn't cover anybody in the 2nd half.

Well at least they have film to study if there is a next time since he just got activated from the practice squad.

I honestly believe that Claypool can be that guy but I also thought Martavious was going to be that guy too to take over a game like that.

One thing that kills me admitting to this is that the Steelers are sometimes stubborn and do not seem to adjust quickly vs where I have seen the Pats make an adjustment the very next down.

My point is that even going back to Coach Labeau days...the defensive philosophy seems difficult to change in realtime where I would think on that same drive you adjust.

Remember when Brady would dink an dunk and the Steelers would still blitz and blitz and there was no way getting to him.

I feel dirty saying this but Belicheat would automatically take away the best weapon and make you beat them by other means.

I think I may resubscribe to the All 22 again just to see when did they roll a safety over but then again the D was depleted so maybe easier said than done.

Diggs played in Minnesota and had some pretty good success there before being traded to Buffalo. He's not someone to take lightly.

    :hmm:

Stephon Diggs has been a top 10 Receiver for the past three years now. Hard not too know about him. The fact why he is breaking out so much is because of Josh Allen. Josh Allen is far superior to Kirk Cousins in every way.

P.S. I was being sarcastic. Diggs was (and still is) leading the NFL in receiving this year. And he has hit 1000 yards for the past 3 season now. Just shocking how the Steelers D would leave him uncovered most of the 2nd half last night.

It's almost as if they had no clue that he was a good player.

Exactly....how about the OP put some respect on his name as if he didn't just likely singlehandledly dig a grave for the Steelers season. The Steelers are now without a bye and therefore any chance as far as I'm concerned of being competitive for any playoff run w/o a extra week to rest these players.

Unless the play-by-play person was mistakenly pronouncing his last name wrong like the sportscaster was the other night with Ray Ray McCloud (McDonald I believe is what the newscaster was using) it was a lame attempt at a joke and nothing sarcastic about it all. Where was the joke or sarcasm at? You act like you were saying something that was so profound. Enlighten me a little.

There’s no joke. He effed up the spelling and it’s just trying to save face. The real joke is he’s going around starting multiple threads telling everybody how bad the Steelers suck. Probably a ravens fan.

As evidenced on that one play where Minkah pushed the receiver into 25 or more yards, lmao I love him, but kid ya got to learn to wrap your arms and not push him away.
