Heard this guy was in for a visit. I really think he'd be a good fit. Local guy who could provide solid depth across the interior OL and may be an upgrade at LG. Anyone hear if he signed or left without a contract?

hmmmm..maybe there's still some concerns about Pouncey's injury?

I dunno... if they're looking for someone to cover G and C for depth, then that's certainly a need we have.

I'd be surprised if Pouncey was going anywhere this season.

Swapping a Legursky for a Wiesniewski? Sounds like a pink elephant card.

Wisniewski's father Leo Wisniewski played four seasons for the Colts as a nose tackle and his uncle Steve Wisniewski was an eight-time Pro Bowl guard with the Raiders. He has the pedigree if nothing else.

Yeah, but he'd be easy to upgrade.

Funny I was thinking the same thing. If they tried to trade Pouncey the dead money would be 11 mill. They just got out of 8 mill from Marshmallow Woodley. Unless they can work out a deal that the team that traded for him would agree to take on some of the dead money? IDK. Can't have that much dead money hanging. This could be the year for #7 so I would keep him and hope he can stay on the field.

Love to see us sign this guy, insurance at C and maybe depth at G as well. I am all about cheap/good olineman.......especially as Ben gets older!

I just read that Wisniewski left without a contract unfortunately. He would be great depth and I believe a potential upgrade over Foster. I actually really hoped they would sign him last year before he went to the Jags. Oh well.

Yeah, I think they're simply trying to upgrade the backup situation across the offensive line via free agency because the depth (and quality) in this draft is more on defense.

Cody Wallace's dead cap is 150k.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were looking for an upgrade.

Wallace was the most penalized center last year.
