Imagine if someone bet on this scenario a couple weeks ago?

Love it! The Chiefs have become my least favorite team this year with wittle Patty the cwybaby and Mr. Taylor Swft. Sick and tired of those wannabe celebrities!

They did a good job in signing three ILBs who were all playing well, they have no control of injuries, Semualo was considered the best free agent guard on the market and they drafted their future LT.

I'm not down on the steelers roster as many on this board. The biggest difference between the steelers and the rest of the NFL is in the QB and coaching. We're not 49ers good across the board, but we're good.
We, The entire thesteelersfans.com message board, said 5 months ago that the biggest question marks coming into the season were QB and coaching.
We were right and still are right.

ok....and the last several seasons since we lost Shazier? How did we address that? The last few seasons on the O-line? I don't get your point...are you going to ignore every other season with obvious personnel and coaching mistakes? . sure we tried to address those failures this past off season. Remember our plan for the O-line 2-3 years ago? Yea we were better this season than the garbage we ran out there every week but even when they were healthy we weren't all that good at any aspect besides creating turnovers and pass rush. Any improvements made at ILB and O-line were negated by a total offensive collapse, poor QB play with no back up plan, inconsistent rush defense all season, and horrible preparation against some really bad teams that we should have easily beaten.

LOL Nobody needs to know Rooney personally to realize he isn't Jerry Jones. It is very unusual for an owner to tell a head coach who their backup quarterback will be. I'm sorry if you don't know that.

There is a lot here I agree with, but your take on what they did at ILB and OL is way off base. They had a huge need at inside linebackers and signed three guys to fill it. All played at or above expectations. It isn't the fault of Khan or Tomlin that Alexander and Holcomb both suffered catastrophic injuries.

They drafted a stud offensive tackle and everything I heard or read about Seumalo suggested he was a perfect fit. Not fixing the center position was a big mistake, but they can't address everything at once.

Why? Who wanted Najee as the top pick? It’s speculated that came from the top. So I don’t see it as a stretch for them to say roll with KP this season but have Mitch be the primary backup if possible. I doubt Tomlin is making unilateral decisions for these high profile positions. Guard or receiver I can understand, but QB, i think preference is coming from the top.

I'm not just talking about this season. I'm talking about the last several seasons. The O-line and ILb's have been a disaster since before Ben left. We had a huge need long before this season.

:bscow:. Did You just start watching football?? LoL. All across the freaking NFL....the Highest paid FA, and draft pick(once they start playing) at their position... on that team...are the starters....unless they get hurt, or the just finally play so bad they can't make excuses for them....Yes You can give me outliers, but for everyone You give Me....I can give You 10. You only say this...because You were one of the biggest Trubisky fans. Anyone that has watched football knew Mason was in trouble to get a starting job, or even a chance....once they spent that money in free agency on Trubisky, and then spent a 1st round draft pick on KFP. You know this....I know this, and anyone that has been watching football knows this. Players after they are out of the league don't say all the time that the best player doesn't always play, and that it's a business for nothing. You want to blame someone....blame the GM that went , and got Trubisky.
