    Tomlin out thinking himself..you go for it in that scenario. If you get the first, you are putting up points, if not you are giving it up deep, and you burned up some more clock. You are up by 2 scores...3 still only makes it 2 scores

    I can only guess it's because since the QB is in the pocket, he doesn't have forward momentum. It's getting yanked down like that from behind while running that risks injury. :shrug:
