Keep in mind I also have had my fair share of critiques about Tomlin. That said, people sell him short a bit too much.

 

Looked for that OT game and they have Cowboys game instead here in PA. Eagle fans must be pissed.

I have, too. Sometimes it's simply frustration setting in, but I just can't comprehend the hate. How many other franchises would gladly take Tomlin off our hands? There's that, and I think to his very core, he's a good man with strong convictions. And that I admire about him more than anything.

 

How many franchises?! Washington was among them via trade rumors last season.

Wow, got to give the rookie defensive back credit. He was beaten badly, but didn't give up on the play. Metcalf needs his ass chewed for that.

Offense looked fine without DJ... Matter of fact, the game was sealed by a big body WR on the outside making a play. I stand by my assessment we draft DK and we were a better team last year and possibly this year.

 

Tomlin's record speaks for itself. The Pittsburgh Steelers are a successful organization. The two things I'm most proud of are the 6 SB's and the fact that of the four major sports in our country we have had the fewest Head Coaches the past half century.

Noll-Cowher-Tomlin All positives in the Steelers success and you know I bitched at all three of them. I was young in the 70's and remember hating Noll because we didn't get the 3rd SB after first 2. Back then not thinking that injuries are a huge part of game. Bitched at Cowher for relaxing the troops too early in the 4th qtr. when we had the lead. 60 minute men my ass

 

It's being beatin SDOT. 3-1 will still be a great start although it's just the start.

 

At least 50% of the teams in the nfl would take him. If he were to get fired or let his contract expire his agent’s phone would be ringing within minutes.
