Steelers Vs. Saints Gameday Thread

Saint's lose 3 in a row and blow out the Steelers at home. Player's and coaching staff are a joke right now. Tomlin has been out coached for the last 4-5 years, time to move on with a new coach.

I agree, BFT. We probably won't get there, but we couldn't win a playoff game playing like this. At this point it looks like getting to 9-7 might be a chore. At least we'll get a better draft pick, but after the Shazier instead of Mosely debacle that doesn't even make me feel better.

Guess I go with plan b, the Broncos! It's really frustrating these last three years to watch this team. Jekyll and Hyde mentality kills us. We wouldn't win a playoff game anyways.

 

Yeah it's just too bad we won't be officially eliminated for a couple more weeks. I really love when this team comes together and rallies to screw up the draft. It's my favorite part of the season. ( no green font necessary)

 

Got to agree. Something is just not right with Tomlin's teams the last three seasons. I know the players have messed up at times but I am saying outside out that. The teams just don't feel right. They aren't prepared. Something just isn't right.

But O should have scored 10 points minimum in first two times in red zone.

Yeah I was actually upset that McCain got hurt. It really hurt more than we knew I guess. Still Ike should be able to cover a BACKUP tight end. He is our franchise corner. Man say that sentence slowly.

 

Ike needs to go. Get burned on a double move for a TD then try's posture over someone that just ran for 40 yards on the D. Good job on the tackle, now get your ass back to the huddle.

More fans going to games is going to reinforce the mediocrity. Building a superior contender isn't really important when you can fill the stands with a mediocre product. To those in the machine it's all about money, it's only to us lowly fans who put our hard earned money into the machine who actually care about the quality of the product.

 

It bears repeating: the Saints are coming off a short week, with a three-game losing streak, ON THE ROAD against a team that had two weeks to prepare.

Um...those teams have all managed to BEAT Tomlin in recent years.

 

I figured 9-7 or 8-8 this year so I'm not really surprised by this. I just didn't think we done enough to improve the defense and I was right. If we had our good defenses from a few years ago we would still be in this game.

 

At this point we're going to have to win out for any chance
