I believe the higher the number the worse the sprain.

Ppl talk about this game and how Mason did. You know how many damn games Ben was total ass?

Mason had a 112 QBR or better the last 3 games. Thats your 2024 QB1 right there. Don’t fk this up Steelers.

Ouch! So grade 3 is worse than grade 1? I was assuming the opposite

Hard to talk up a coach that has just lost the last 7 of 8 games against the other HC

A Grade III sprain will have a complete rupture of the ligament, gross instability, swelling, and severe pain followed by a dull ache.

Then it would not be a sprain, it would be a tear.

Grade 3 is a partial or full rupture/tear. Everything I read says 1-3 weeks for a 1 and at least 3-6 weeks for a 3 with surgery it's towards the latter number.

    I’m a doctor…most likely it’s a grade 1…grade 3 is a complete tear.

I'm happy just seeing Pickens laughing, smiling and over all having a good time tonight, even though Mason never looked his way

Ugh, it looks like TJ is done, and that's an awful injustice if we do make it in no-one has desrved a playoff game mroe.

Happy for the Steelers and Mason to end the season on a 3-game win streak, and hopefully get it into the playoffs and kick some more butt.
There were some bad personnel choices tonight between playing Najee and Warren in some situations.
That throw to DJ for the TD, I thought it was going for the underneath guy but he went yard, wow.
    Defense was awesome!

Agreed. Furthermore, the stats for all of Mason's career starts compared to the stats for Ben across the same number of games are remarkably similar...this, despite Ben getting to play all of his games consecutively and having the game plan entirely built around him, whereas Mason wasn't ever given that luxury.

I think Mason has great potential...hope they don't squander what they have, esp if he takes them deep into the playoffs.

Schefter gave conflicting remarks saying that it was a grade 3 sprain and that is good news for TJ and the Steelers. Maybe he was just trying to scoop everyone on the story and got things mixed up.

Hey, at least I played football in college, and was drafted (albeit the 7th round). What are your credentials?
