They are who we thought they were, and we let them off the hook

It could very well be that these two matriarchs are going to make sure the league is protected. Some think this is to cover things up. I don't Mara and Rooney are too smart for that. It's bad business to continue a cover-up; b etter business and PR to ax Goodell and make sure you have plenty of evidence to do so.

And there they are talking about how they needed this. These league reps need to get some conviction and call these scumbags out. The rats and the league knew what happened and didn't give a crap till the public saw the video.

    True.

But it's even harder to play well when the deck is stacked against you.

I love how they talk about how these teams "hate each other" but after the game they are all yucking it up. Our guys should be so ticked that they just go to the locker room and get their stuff and leave. There is no nastiness to this d.

I thought the butt whopping from the Eagles would wake them up.
It's over Colbert, Tomlin, Lebeau, and Haley.
You couldn't beat a team in turmoil.

Never seen a RB slice through the d line like that.

Ben had too much flying around him in the pocket. Need better blocking. Were missing some players still.

Only two touchdowns and 4 field goals against our D. They kept them out of the end zone on 4 tries. The D was gashed on plays, but that is today's NFL. Our offense has been terrible, really terrible, for 3/4 of the season. And this with allegedly a franchise top 5 quarterback. I blame Haley more than Lebeau.

We agree there BFT.. I guess they call it sportsmanship but I can assure you and perhaps a bit embarrassing on my part but when I lost I went to the locker room and left the field.. Sometimes I shook hands after the game and sometimes I just did not. I felt that bad and was that competitive... My bad lol

It's been 24 years since I could say the Pirates were the best team in town.

He won't do it, of course, but I would really love for Tomlin to say something about the lopsided penalties tonight.

Two bad penalties when they tried to step up and be physical and you could even see it on Tomlin's face that he knew it was over. I think he needed to go over and rally those guys and bring them to a state of frenzy. Screw all that calm on the sidelines crap!

Cowher would've blown the hell up on the refs and made it clear he was going to call them out if they didn't even it up!

I hope you are right but I always hear radio personalities saying the maras and the rooneys had the biggest hand in making him commish in the first place. Hard to believe with the way we've been shafted for a while...just what I hear. I know there's nothing I can do about it so I don't give enough of a **** to research the facts. Just going by what I've heard. They are all n the moneymaking business so anything is possible.
