So the Steelers penchant for defeating good teams and losing to horrible teams continues......

Meh. We knew the defense sucked. I will say though that if Tomlin had played Boykin over Blake more I think we might be in a better position. Dude has missed tackles, busted coverages, and given up big plays all year and still Tomlin insists on playing him. I don't care what anybody says but that is just bad coaching.

The Ravens didn't beat us... We beat ourselves. No one played good at all. I just can't believe this. What the hell is up with Ben??

 

They are done. I don't see the Jets losing to the Bills next week.

 

If you're going to call out people when they don't agree then be prepared to be called out. Perhaps people might admit they were 100% wrong in questioning others??

 

I seem to recall being accused of wanting to go back to 3 yards and a cloud of dust for wanting the Steelers to go downfield less and use more high percentage passes just a couple weeks. I wonder if that poster understands the reasoning now?

Remember a few weeks ago when people thought it was a good idea that the Bills were losing to drop out of things. Well, now you know why that wasn't a good thing.

 

I didn't say they were gutless. But at some point Tomlin needs to figure out how to field a more consistent team. I don't understand how he can helm the kind of comeback they had last week against Denver only to turn around and look dead flat against this poor excuse for a Raven team. It just seems to be a hallmark of this team in recent years - rise up and grab the unexpected win, but drop those you should have easily had in the win column.

 

Yep, I'm sure that Steeler team that SUCKED IT UP TODAY HAD THEM SHAKING IN THEIR SHOES!

Well looks like we are all Bills fans next week. Good news is you know Rex Ryan wants nothing more then to keep the jets out of the playoffs. So Bills will not make it easy for Jets.

 

Tomlin just goes by "feel" and has flat out said so. I guess we're not gonna live in our fears... I will say though that the Rooney's were absolutely the ones that let BA go. If you watch his football life he talks about how people hate on him for his aggressiveness but he says his philosophy is "no risk it, no biscuit." That sounds exactly like Tomlin to me. There's no real actual intellect behind that. It's just a dumb cliche

Agreed. 7 points allowed in the last two halves combined with Blake out and Boykin in.

Boykin beating that RB as a pass rusher was a great great play. I wonder who Boykin will be making those plays for next year because I can't see him sticking around to ride the pine for Tomlin.

 

Yeah, it's their fault the Steelers can't beat the Ravens with a 4th string QB.
