Have we stopped them at all?

 

This game is a nightmare

 

Is this game really tied up? At this point I'll be thrilled if we pull out a win. What was looking like a sure victory turned into a nail biter!

 

No, this Defense is horrendous and I don't think Harrison and Polumalu will make much difference.

 

No pain anymore. I'm on day 7 of 7 for antibiotics. Amoxicilin works wonders. Didn't go so well with the beers I had on Thursday though. That was not a good idea.

 

Agree. Troy isn't great in coverage and that's where most of our problems are. Not to mention that we can't get any pressure at all. This is embarrassing.

I think you're right. So much of our issues anymore seem to be based more on scheme than personnel.

 

We have made them look like world champs in the 2nd half.

Unreal...I go into a meeting and come out with a tied up game....why oh why do they try to keep teams in it???

 

WE are keeping Oakland in this game.

This is so frustrating.... Can we play any more poorly?

Let's recap:
1) A 20 yd punt today
2) Our offense can only be stopped by ourselves.... Penalties and Fumbles (407 to 272 in yards right now)
3) A defense that until Timmons just made a play hasn't stopped Oakland all half (Oakland was 6-6 on third downs before that last play)
4) A defense that has ONE sack today, are we even using any blitzes anymore. Palmer has an unlimited amount of time to throw.
5) Mundys plays for Oakland, I think
6) A kicker who cannot kick the ball out of the end zone even with an extra fifteen yds

Sorry for the bitchin' but it is US that is keeping Oakland in this game.

 

That's because competent QB's line up and know exactly what defense the Steelers are running.
