With the new push out rule, I hate seeing defensive players push a WR out of bounds while he's catching it. I'd much rather them not touch him so that if he comes down out of bounds, it won't be a catch.

I think the new rule says you have to come down in bounds. If he pushes you out it's incomplete. The old rule was a judgement call - the change was designed to eliminate guess work.

 

As much as I love the ole dude, I think its time for him to turn it over to someone else.

 

Oh yeah, that's right. I got confused for a minute. They changed it the other way, where you can push guys out now. My mistake.
