    I would take Johnson and dump Byron so we have some kind of future as a backup.. Someone being trained as a young undrafted player

    man these injuries are jut messing me up... 2 areas where we can'tafford to be short..OLine and LB's...maybe Farrior should be waiting by his phone.... he should be Fresh without having to go thru camp...

    I WANT TO BE NOMINATED FOR DUMBUMBA$$ OF THE YEAR...
    i watched 3 3/4 quarters on the link (on the internet feed) thennnnnnnnnnnnnn i flip chanels on TV and guess what.. what do i see in HD TV... the steelers... i forgot im in myrtle beach SC this month and its on the panthers station DUHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    They just interviewed Adams on the radio broadcast. He sounds like a guy with a really good attitude. I think he'll be good in time.

    I dont know that it was a huge test giving it was Carolina but Adams did very well but then Ben never played .. It was CB and Johnson the entire game.

    The Oline actually looked really good..

    Adams is a work in progress

    We will see in Denver

    I actually think carolina is going to be a playoff team this year. Like the annoucers said they had late leads in 10 games last year. I had my doubts but newton is the real deal

    Tomlin just confirmed that Spence is at the hospital with a 'significant' knee injury. Sounds like he is done for the year. Two draft picks down.

    Just listened to Tomlin's presser. Some notes:

    Respects that group of men in the locker room. Big time respect for their effort and contributions.

    Spence's knee being examined in hospital. Said it's significant.

    Golden had a hamstring injury.

    Didn't mention Curtis Brown, but when asked said 'he left with knee issues, doesn't know if it's major or minor'

    DeCastro's surgery was successful. Will let the dust settle and see.

    Dwyer toted the load as the primary ball carrier, which is what they expect from him.

    He showed up in good physical condition. What he did tonight was a snapshot of what he's done through the last month.

    He liked the new IR rule, said the Steelers voted for it.

    Charlie reperesented himself well, made some good throws but it's not a one man game.

    Rainey did some nice things in terms of making unblocked guys miss...they were called back...but it is encouraging to see him make the first one or two would be tacklers miss.

    For a lber that uses his speed and quickness that could be a career ender. Did he come out early or did he graduate i feel horrible for this kid. My heart truely goes out to him.
