Rookies look better Ben has. It seems he would have learned something in 14 seasons as a starter.

Hey, I hope they go out and prob all the gloom and doom dialogue wrong. I honestly just don't see it with this particular group. I see no heart, no anger, no love of the game passion.

No tantrums today. Nice stat line. I'd have liked to have seen somebody beating the crap out of a Gatorade cooler today after that pathetic performance!

Not sure what you mean about then what......do I think we need to bench him no but it is getting close to that. I am tired of hearing Haley stinks and Tomlin stinks and play calling is bad, screw that how about putting some blame on the guy behind the ball???? Watch these first 5 games Ben is off, way off even in the 3 games we won. He misses guys long he never hits a guy in stride, our guys never have a chance to get any YAC cause they are either jumping for a ball, reaching back or waiting.

I'm not arguing about Ben, but there is no other option. Its on Haley because if ben can't handle the plays/throws, change the playbook. It's on Tomlin because he randomly goes for 2 pts and challenges calls on sure losers, so I know he's irrational to begin with.

Wrong wrong wrong, watch how Ben goes thru his reads than watch how Ben throws the ball. This is about Ben and him being not right, he is short, long, behind and high. Haley is not throwing the ball Ben is and if you don't give your guys the chance to run after the catch, heck chance to make the catch it don't matter what is called.

They could try to run, for example. Play action to hold the Dbacks for a second, giving a little room to the receivers. Adjust to compensate for what Ben isn't doing. Or keep waiting for Ben to get accurate again (he never was all that accurate, or not in awhile).

It's both, IMHO. Ben's individual performance hasn't been efficient at all this year, but Haley has never impressed me when it comes to orchestrating the game plan offensively. An offense can have a wealth of talent individually, but it's about how they play as a unit. I think both Ben and Haley have been guilty of over-focusing on the individual parts and plays, rather than seeing the unit come together as a whole.

Your right about trying something different but play action or whatever Ben still has to throw the ball. This isn't about guys being covered this is about Ben missing guys. Yeah the one int he did throw into triple coverage and I am pretty sure Haley didn't call for that, that was all Ben. You are so right Ben was never that accurate but he is hitting an all time low right now.

I don't have a problem with Haley of course when you lose that does change things. I feel Haley saved BB career, Ben went from the most hit QB to the least hit QB. The problem IMO is BB and Haley don't see eye to eye cause Ben thinks he is a gunslinger and Haley likes to play different. I don't have stats this is JMO, but I really feel if they fired Haley we would see a different Ben. This may have to be the option just to save the season, I for one don't like it cause I have no problem with Haley.

I think when things are this bad it's probably on both of them. Haley came up with the atrocious gameplan and Ben did his job to make sure it failed. 55 attempts against one of the better pass Ds and worst run Ds ...in what reality does that make sense, Not only is the play calling terrible ,the play design is terrible as well. There is never any separation our WRs always seem to be running routes right next to each other bringing more defenders into a targeted area. Why would you have the other WRs anywhere near AB he is already drawing double coverage as it is. I don't know who is running this **** show but someone has to take responsibility and step up to fix it.
Honestly, I know this is a conservative franchise but this is probably Ben's last year so either let him take over the offense and see if he falls on his face or get rid of Haley and bring in someone Ben will respond to. We've all seen this underperforming long enough to realize it's not gonna improve by doing nothing...

This may be our best option to save the season and like I said Haley and Ben don't see eye to eye and if they want to save the season I think the option is can Haley which I don't want to see but I want us to win........

It's both... Wether the like each other or not, or regardless of who's ego or dick is bigger, it ain't working. The same Offensive game plan against Cleveland took the field today just as it does week in and week out. 1st series last week is the only time I saw much creativity. Execution is the golden rule in sports, but so is having the ability to switch gears and plan for or alter game plans opponent to opponent. If Ben's running the show, kick his ass. If Haleys the culprit, kick his ass... Lastly kick coach T's ass for not reeling any of whatever's presumed in! Probably too late to bench a QB for a chin check especially if he's already checked out. But it ain't too late to be willing to lose with someone else to atleast exhaust all options and that applies to all coaches and players not named Ben!

Denver reeled in their packages to accommodate a dead armed QB, and well they got a SB with a shell of what Manning was. Ben's arm isn't dead in that regard, but creativity could help him out...apparently this team doesn't have that be it situationally, or with whatever opponent in mind.

They DO play down to their opponent and I don't care how those that feel different try to argue it. Honestly, it's not so much playing down as it is playing into said opponent's strengths whilst abandoning what works and not adjusting to what has not coupled with trying out different hands to atleast attempt to find a hot hand and roll the dice that already been come up empty in the first place.

I agree that Haley has brought some obvious good to the team, including the shorter passing strikes that helped Ben stay upright more often. I also attribute some of the blame with decisions to Ben, as we can't really discern from the stands what plays Ben may audibling out of, and of course the decisions he's making in his reads are on him.

Still, I think some of the playcalling and general strategy are on Haley. But, like you, I can't back how much of that (if any) is on stats. It's just a general feeling. It wouldn't be illlogical to surmise that Ben's own age-progressed play could be having a large hand in matters either.

Very true I think as a fan we really don't know how much is on who, jmo. Also by no means am I trying to say Haley is perfect. I am just saying I like what he brings and if Ben was playing better this wouldn't be an problem.

I think you are on to something. Which I stated along time ago when Ben came out with this BS. He has checked out.

No, I don't think so. At least no more than the Bears are lol. Steelers just aren't very good right now. Hard to beat any NFL team when you're minus 4 in turnovers.

I hope this game provides the dose of reality Ben needs to admit to himself that’s not 2007-2010 Ben. There can be times to change from the called play to sandlot ball, but it no longer can be this QB’s default.

I’d like to see plays designed to give Ben (1) a quick target; (2) an escape/checkdown option that he can trust to be in the right place and catch the ball; and (3) more of a New England mindset as to maintaining drives

I have said it before and will say it again and again and again.....the offense we used in the 2nd half of the Raven game and the 1st half of the Dolphin playoff game is the offense we need to run. The quick pass like you are talking about and the up tempo with these guys is unstoppable. JMO
