Sounds like they redesigned the offense around him. Bye bye Flacco

I'd like to point out that the Steelers gave up nearly 75 yards to Fournette and over a 100 yards or more rushing in the first half and it didn't kill them. In fact when needed the run defense was stout and rose up.

People thought that after the Panthers’ win Tomlin would like how it felt being up big in the 3rd Quarter, he would grow fond of it.

I seem to recall last year the team kept winning and I sarcastically created a “post win complaint” thread. It was a safe space where people could get rid of all their negative energy.

Tomlin doesn’t like easy wins. He acknowledges and accepts that we prefer to have near heart attacks every week. Obviously, the game went exactly as he intended.

I have no clue how we managed to pull that off, but I'll take it.
Kudos to the D, but we won't always have the good fortune of being up against a QB as inept as Bortles.

Not much else he could say. He finally woke up, but he had some help on a couple of those catches

You could definitely tell he was worried about interceptions on short completions as he kept looking and guys underneath and then not throwing it. I was like Ben come on take the 4 yards.

I’ll take him on. People say I remind them a lot of Jason Statham. Or David Strathairn. I can never remember...

Yeah, but we also won’t have to go up against a defense that can cover WRs like Jacksonville can.

Regarding James Conner, he did have a bad game no doubt.

That being said, not going to give up him at all. If anything, such a game was bound to happen. I am content said bad happened sooner than later.

He will bounce back no doubt. He is the self improvement type and does not concede to complacency; quitting no less.

You can say that again! :)

Jacksonville is now essentially eliminated from playoff contention.

Yeah, he and Favre and Bradshaw, for that matter like to let it fly and let their receivers make plays. We get angry, but that's how he plays, gotta take the good with the bad. Despite ramsey's big mouth BS, you think he'd take Ben for Blake? This game was a perfect illustration of why it's damn difficult for a single dimension football team, even one with a top five defense, to win close games.

Since Houston is 7-3 I highly doubt that.

Sounds legit. It's the internet, so yeah.

I'm told I favor John Wick. In fact, I am John Wick. At least Keanu played me in the movie. But I am the real John Wick.

Well, Strathairn was great in 8 Men Out and LA Confidential. So, there's that.

Might be the most impressive comeback I've seen outta the Steelers. They had no business winning this game. Best part was seeing Ramsey with his head down on the sidelines.. Can't stand that pos

Possible though. 9-7 might get a wildcard or a division.

That was it for me as well. The crap he was talking after that INT that he ran out, really ticked me off!

So glad he was beaten by JuJu on that last drive!

In fairness to the refs, the Jags were playing like they were the Patriots. Clearly they committed more penalties than they were called on. Last 10 seconds it seemed they wanted to hold as much as they could to force the Steelers into a FG due to time.

The big throw to JuJu on the winning drive was pure gold. Even the throw to Vance was good....let your big TE get himself a combat catch.

That’s a big Achilles heel for this defense playing running QBs.
