Actually the play of the game was Dupree pressuring Jones to throw that int to Heyward, the Giants were certain to get some points on that drive,it seemed to shift the momentum.

I love SaQuon as both a player and person. That said, from what I have read and seen, no one is replacing Barry Sanders anytime soon. He is the Dan Marino of Running Backs in my opinion.

You will never see that level of maneuverability again.

Sad to say for Conner but I think the situation will resolve itself, he can’t stay healthy.

Yeah, foresight is a good thing. Dupree sure looked like he is building off last season tonight, didn't he?

    Absolutely.

Sad though that, more often than not in his career, he had to run that way. Poor Barry was running for his life!

Going to have to be that way.

Besides, Benny Snell looked impressive tonight. Knowing Mike Tomlin, he likes riding the hot hand. Benny Snell to me is primed for a big season.

    Calvin Johnson too!!

Both could not stand the mediocrity. I hope the same will not be said for SaQuon though. Love that kid!

Good job by the run defense, the pass defense needs to tighten up though.

He’ll be out of there after FA. They’ll tag him of course, so he’ll have to wait and endure purgatory but his time will come.

Dupree played, well, like a man in a contract year.
Alert play by JuJu to be there to recover that fumble!
Love Conner but he is just not durable. Snell may have beaten him out tonight, or it may be a week or two into the schedule, but I think it will happen sooner rather than later.
Did not see an injury report on Zach Banner, but he looked like he was in a lot of pain. I had a similar expression when I tore my right ACL. I hope it isn’t that.

Considering what he's being paid, I would hope so.

So unfortunate if this is correct. First game as starter.

Wasn't he up against a rookie? Let's see if he can be consistent before crowning him.

    17 games isn’t consistent? :lolol:

You guys are rough on him. This is the player we hoped he would be coming out, all that talent but very raw. Knew it would take a while, I thought he would have arrived 1 season earlier. I’ll take what he gives us now and I hope they find a way to keep him. Him and Watt can be a formidable tandem for years to come.
