This exactly. Atlanta knows what they are. Their division is weak....so with confidence they could maybe take it.....they didn't want that confidence destroyed by the Steelers. As the Boxing example He said....it's very true. I can't tell You how many guy have come into the gym in the day wanting to challenge people because they took some classes, workout on a heavy bag, and , or watched a lot of movies....only to realize all that went out the window once they were actually getting tagged. The hate for Tomlin is as stupid as the hate of Ben.

Sure is. Especially if there's no MMA, football, baseball, soccer, hockey, Lacrosse, rugby, Polo, tennis, or golf on T.V. I am 100% tuning in then.

 

You Suck. It was My 1st Love ....even before the Steelers. It was very big in My immediate family. I had My 1st boxing match at the age of 7. I got beat, and cried. LoL

 

I don't hate it. Just not a huge fan. I'm a soccer fan and get all kinds of ridicule for that so I figured I would dish out some.

I agree it was. Anymore all I ever see promoted are these exhibition fights. I grew up during Hearns, Sugar Ray, Hagler, Duran, Camacho, and Mayweather Sr. The heavyweight guys were mostly Holmes, Cooney, Dokes, and Spinks before Tyson.

The last boxing match I took seriously was Foreman vs Tommy Morrison. When they gave that fight to Morrison by decision I knew then it had become a joke.

 

In 1981 there was something relatively new called HBO and they bought the rights to s heavy weight fight between George Cooney and Ken Norton

I decided to have a party and invited a bunch of people most of which showed a up a little late

The fight lasted 54 seconds

Norton threw a hard right and hard left to both sides of Clooney’s head

Clooney looked and threw one punch right down the middle

Fight over

Clooney was the hardest hitter I ever saw

 

George Foreman said that Cooney hit him the hardest of anyone but Big George still knocked him out in the second round.

 

It does. I watch almost every week. Its sad that such a beautiful sport, and science is an after thought today.

 

It still is. Your just out of touch with the real fights, and fighters. I don't even watch those exhibition matches. The only one close I watch, and won big money on was Mayweather, and that Ireland mma fighter(McGregor, or something like that)
Anyone that has missed the career of Vasiliy Lomachenko has missed some awesome boxing.
